Skimo Crazy Race Suit
Since Valeria Colturi created the first SkiMo race suit in 1989, Crazy Idea has embodied the fast and light ethos, with this idea being integral to their DNA. Searching for a new platform from which to forge the next chapter of the Skimo Co Race Suit, we knew the top-notch construction, materials, and lineage of the Crazy Idea Race Suits was a kick-turn in the right direction. Built with premium microfiber fabrics with graphene printing, this suit is incredibly abrasion-resistant, has excellent thermoregulation, and is smooth on your skin. Oh yeah, it also reduces electrostatic charge, which is a bonus if you've run afoul of Zeus. The lower gaiter is constructed from Schoeller fabric, which has highly elastic and abrasion-resistant properties. The intelligent and practical pocket layout features room for a 1/2 liter of water, skins, and an avalanche beacon. This suit is designed to pair seamlessly with race boots, while the boot stirrups will give you a little "giddyup" on booting sections since snow can't easily creep in. Whether you are a fan of racing, feeling a little blue, or appreciate skinning as a Skimo Co billboard (thank you!), this suit is for you.
- Intelligent pocket layout allows you to stash and retrieve essential gear quickly.
- Schoeller material on cuff was specially designed to fit over race suits and fend off ski edges and crampon spikes.
- Microfiber with graphene printing allows for effective thermoregulation, durability, and friction reduction.
- Polypropylene back insert increases breathability and provides excellent freedom of movement.
- Italian craftsmanship and attention to detail.
