The Cervino kit from Crazy Idea is a race-inspired top and bottom with a fleece lining that makes it a bit warmer than the Repeat. Sleek on the outside, soft on the in, the jacket is great for long training days, casual touring, and ski mountaineering. The shoulders and upper arms are Schoeller, which is a softshell material that offers a good level of weather protection. The main body is lined to trap more heat than a pure race suit or top, but remains breathable so you can still motor. Flex zones under the arms are not lined for maximum mobility. The Cervino jacket is so comfortable you’ll most likely use it for all your mountain adventures.
- Stretch fabric with ergonomic fit and flat-locked seams is athletic indeed.
- Magic Silver yarn fights long day odor with anti-bacterial properties.
- Thumbholes on the arms keep the sleeves in place while using an axe.
- Two chest pockets can fit low-fat skins or similar-sized items.
Update 2020/21: The Cervino jacket was replaced by the Ultra.
