Dynafit Blacklight 95 Set
What's better than the Dynafit Blacklight 95? A sweet deal on a Dynafit Blacklight 95. This is a combo kit that nets you the ski, a Radical ST binding, and a pair of matching Dynafit skins. This is a quick and inexpensive way to get a high-end ski touring setup under your feet. The skis are light, damp, and very versatile so you can ski this in the fall, winter, spring, and hopefully long into summer. The bindings come unmounted so you can center them for your boots. The skins are precut and ready to fly.
- 3D Sidewall Cap with unidirectional carbon wrap offers edge hold and stability.
- Tip rocker helps float in winter powder and getting up and over variable crud.
- Radical ST binding is Dynafit's most popular and has 100mm brakes.
- Included precut skin from Dynafit uses an efficient tip-rip system.

Assuming the included skin is the Blacklight 95 Skin, how do its grip and glide characteristics compare to the Pomoca Free Pro 2.0? Is there a large weight/packability difference?
3/5/2024
Hi William, the included skins are most similar to the Pomoca Climb 2.0 skin. A tad grippier than the Free Pro 2.0, doesn't glide quite as well. The Free Pro 2.0 is thinner and packs up smaller.

What is the weight including binding? Also is this package available in 172cm? Thank you
2/21/2024
Hi Joe, the Radical STs weigh 516g so you can add that to the ski weight. The 172 sets are gone but you can get the flat ski and add a binding of your choice.

I was wondering if it would be possible to purchase a lighter binding or is this a set package?

Hi Gorf, this is a set, but you can grab the skis at a great price here and then choose a binding.

I have a Dynafit Radical boot. If I provide the size of my boot, can you mount the bindings without having my boot in your possession?
1/29/2024
Hi Chuck, yes we can use a stock boot for that mount.

My Blacklights just arrived, shipped quickly and came in good condition. Everything looks great but reading the Safety Notes on the Radical ST bindings, I see that the boot binding function can only be guaranteed with Dynafit Certified Inserts and a list of boot manufacturers is provided. Can you explain? I like the La Sportiva Skorpius CR II and don't see La Sportiva on the list. Thanks.
10/2/2023
Hi Mike, most boot makers buy their fittings from Dynafit, encouraged by that snippet of text you read. La Sportiva is one of the very few boot manufacturers that make their own fittings, believing they have the skill to make a safe version and opting out of paying Dynafit's markup. Sportiva boots are widely used with Dynafit and other bindings and seem to work just fine. You could have your bindings safety release tested with your boots to gain confidence.
