Sticky rubber on top keeps your skis or board from sliding around while you work. It is also applied to the feet of each stand to ensure that they stay put no matter what surface you're tuning over. A slot down the middle of each stand holds skis at a 90° angle for working on edges or repairing sidewalls. Please note that fully rockered or abnormally thick skis may not fit seamlessly into the center slot.
