Plum Oazo II
Progress isn't always linear, especially when you have to kick turn, but fortunately enough for you, Plum has made some design changes to the tried-and-true Plum Oazo models, making it lighter, sleeker, and building it to tackle daily touring and big backcountry skiing with ease. The toe lever is smaller and offers better manual ease of locking and releasing, with a roller mechanism on the toe plate. The BSL adjustment track has also been contoured around the heel piece to shave additional weight, while still allowing for a superb amount of adjustment to fit many boots on the same setup. The construction of metal injection molding helps increase rigidity in smaller parts during binding, while also reducing material waste and weight. Some things do stay the same for our nostalgia critics out there; the beloved 2 riser heights, accessible from a pin-forward position, make transitions a breeze, and can be accessed with a pole instead of bending over. For a full feature set, with minimal weight, the Oazo II is France's answer.
