Honestly, I would rate almost any softshell ski pants that isn't black at least 4 stars at this point - I am that sick of being roasted alive in spring by black pants. These in tan are great, although I should have gotten the small instead of the medium (most jeans in 32 or 31 waist fit me). I assumed they were a "euro" medium, oops. So far no durability issues with them after ~25 days both uphill/skimo "racing" and general backcountry touring for powder. I love softshell pants for Colorado dry conditions ...
I was suspicious of the grip of these skins at first but they've been great, even on relatively steep refrozen skin tracks. The glide is excellent after a day or two break in period as well - you'll out-glide your friends and catch your breath on those annoying rolling approaches. The packability is pretty incredible too - they fit in my jacket pockets even though they're cut for 185 long x 108 mm skis! The pomoca glue is also the perfect stickiness and has yet to let me down. Only downside is pomoca sh...
I really like these bindings and would give them 4.5 stars if that was an option since I only have two minor issues with the toe lever: The toe lever is plastic and I've had one break on me. They also get beat up by your pole tip and it's possible to over-rotate them out of alignment with the toe piece. It's easy to carry a spare but it seems like if ATK made this binding it'd be aluminum and wouldn't have those problems... Otherwise it's a fantastic binding - light for a non-race binding, consistent rele...
These have been my primary powder/variable conditions ski for the last four seasons and I couldn't be happier! They float in meadow skipping pow laps when the avy danger is too sketchy, fly through steep and deep trees and make me seem like a better skier in crust and chopped up crud. The only thing I wouldn't ski them in is steep firm conditions where the width makes edge control difficult. I've also hit quite a few rocks and never had a real core shot or lost any edge. I bought the 185 when I was 15 or ...

I bought these from a local shop last fall, used them to train for and race the power of four but realized they're stiff enough to drive my voile hyperchargers! They're now my regular backcountry boot. They took some punching for my sixth toe and the ankle bone but initially the fit was really good. Why three stars? The liner. The boa cable is slowly slicing into it. I even reinforced it with duck tape and its sliced through the duct tape. It also compressed a lot from stock even after heat molding. I have...
