Raide Hybrid Touring Pant
Built with the same meticulous attention to detail as their heralded packs, the Raide Hybrid Touring Pant is a highly functional backcountry tool with a relaxed fit, targeted at those who scoff at questionable (tight) European fashion. With a hybrid construction, combining waterproof fabric on the lower legs with highly breathable softshell on the upper portion of the pant, you'll be kept dry as you boot up pow-filled couloirs to get the goods. The laser-perforated low bib section helps keep larger snow crystals from wiggling their way down your pants, while the thigh vents allow you to quickly dump excess heat and moisture when the mercury starts to rise. Helping fend off crampons and ski edges, a kevlar reinforcement from Schoeller wraps around the entire cuff area, keeping your pants fresh for many seasons. Since early dawn patrols can lead to equally early bathroom visits, a dropseat was included, allowing you to keep your clothing on as you answer nature's call.
With the Hybrid Touring Pant, it should be noted Raide didn't reinvent the wheel (pant?). Rather, they focus on functionality and attention to detail, which many more prominent clothing manufacturers lack. If you enjoy logically crafted pants that deviate from the oh-so-tight European mold, you've met your match.
- Hybrid construction combines waterproof and softshell fabrics to keep you comfortable, no matter the mission.
- Fabric stretches horizontally but not vertically, meaning your pants won't sag when weight is in the pockets.
- Full wrap Kevlar gaiter keeps your cuffs from getting scuffed.
- Laser-perforated low-cut bib extends below the waste line on the lumbar region for enhanced breathability.
- Thigh vents allow you to dump unwanted heat during springtime missions.
- Internal belt keeps the pants snugly in place, even with a pack on.
- Drop seat on the right side lets you easily answer nature's call.
- Integrated gaiter with a Booster Strap pass-through is convenient and keeps snow out.
- Beacon attachment points exist on both sides of the pant.
- PFAS-free DWR coating won't cause cancer while helping keep moisture out.
- Thoughtfully designed with impeccable attention to detail.
