Ski Trab Gara Titan 2.0 Brake Binding
When speed matters, look towards Italy. Ferrari cultivated a need for speed and manufacturing sophistication, and Ski Trab brings that same refined Italian manufacturing to the world of ski mountaineering. The Gara Titan 2.0 builds upon the winning culture of its predecessor with a slick, patented brake activation system. A simple flip of the integrated aluminum heel riser and slight pressure from the heel of the boot is all it takes to lock the brakes for uphill. A quick reverse flip of the riser disengages the brake lock and exposes the pins for downhill. The meticulously machined riser replaces the previous plastic brake activation, making an already durable race binding even more durable. As a bonus, it even shaves off a few grams. The beloved features of the Titan toe piece remain nearly untouched, with only two small but important updates. The toe lever has a slight change in angle to make getting out of the toe piece even quicker, as well as a small metal retention pin to prevent the toe lever from overextending. These two updates greatly improve a seemingly already-perfect toe piece. The titanium spring design of the toe piece provides elasticity, which helps absorb impact. The new standard in race bindings has arrived with Ski Trab's Gara Titan 2.0!
- Improvements to the toe lever prevent over-rotation and allow easier disengagement when milliseconds count.
- Choice of 4.0, 4.5, or 5.0 diameter steel U-springs, or save 12g and opt for the fastest Titanium.
- New elegant brake system makes for very speedy transitions.
- Brakes obviously meet ISMF and Olympic requirements.
