Pierre Gignoux U77 Stopper Binding
Like his boots, Pierre Gignoux's bindings set the bar for lightweight performance. The U77 is one of the lightest ISMF-compliant race bindings on the market, and the fact that it comes with a brake is nothing short of impressive. Weight savings and durability are achieved by reducing complexity in the design. In lieu of using springs to clamp the toe wings down, Pierre Gignoux instead uses familiar titanium U-spring, providing reliability when it matters most. Instead of a separate race flap on the heels, a single integrated system activates the brakes and covers the heel pins with a single motion, saving weight and increasing speed during transitions. Though prior Pierre Gignoux bindings required specific boots, the U77 is compatible with standard tech fittings, so you can sample the mad Frenchman's wares without going all in. However, do note that Pierre Gignoux boots have a specific toe shape that snaps in particularly quickly. These bindings are lovingly crafted in France by a man who helped define the modern "fast and light" ("rapide et léger") ethos, so rest assured you're in capable hands -- and that your feet are strapped into something that'll take you where you want to go, as long as that's the podium!
- Compliant with all the latest ISMF regulations so you can race at the highest level.
- Innovative and simple titanium U-spring toe design keeps weight and complexity down.
- Compatible with standard tech boots so all can enjoy the exceptional engineering of the U77.
- Integrated pin cover and brake mechanism allow for a single motion transition.
- Quick Step-in toe design works particularly well with Pierre Gignoux boots for the fastest step-ins in the West (or wherever you are).
