Built to do it all. The Raider 12 from ATK is a full-featured binding for aggressive skiing. The toe provides a wide, stable mounting platform for driving large skis. The Uphill Hardness Variator allows adjustment of the toe closing force. At the heel, you will find ATK's cam release system for consistent release characteristics, with both lateral and vertical release being adjustable. The AP brake system is intuitive and ensures you will never forget to deploy the brakes for the down. Easy-to-use magnetic risers make adjustments easy when the going gets steep. For the discerning skier looking for all-around performance, the ATK Raider 12 AP is here.

  • Cam Release System helps with easy step-in and facilitates independent vertical and lateral release.
  • Snowpack Proof Toe resists snow build-up on deep days, keeping things working smoothly.
  • Elastic Response System compensates for ski compression, keeping your release values reliable and consistent.
  • AP Brake System means pushing the brake pad down while turning the heel for uphill mode.
  • Uphill Hardness Variator can be adjusted to compensate for worn-out tech toe fittings.

Question from Piotr

Hey, I am trying to find a good binding to match the new Navis Freebird skis for do it all purpose from skiing steep line to big 10k+ days, powder skiing, and bad snow skiing sometimes all of the above on the same day 😉.

Will be paired with the technica zero g tour pro boots. I am considering ATK raider 12 AP or 12 SL. The AP’s look like a good match but with a slight weight penalty. Is there anything else that sets these apart?

I’m currently on 2022 raider 12 bibdings and absolutely love them.

Answer from Matt P

Hey Piotr,

The AP and SL share the exact same heel piece and brake system. The difference in weight comes from a different toe piece. Functionally, they are the same, but the Raider SL has more material machined out, making the binding a bit lighter.
