ATK Raider SL 10 Binding
Designed with the same DNA as the now ubiquitous and revered Raider line, the Raider 10 SL from ATK is a light(er) fully featured binding that isn't afraid of rowdy descents. Similar to the Raider models, the SL features a hard-charging heel piece, complete with elastic travel, two magnetic heel risers, and an ability to independently adjust vertical and lateral release values, which in this case, are between 3-10. As noted by the "SL" designation, the toe piece has been minimally designed to save weight, allowing you to save valuable grams on a big day. While the toe piece is the lightest of the Raider series, rest assured, its burly 7075 aluminum alloy construction is in it for the long haul. While not as automated as the Evo system, the AP brake system is intuitive and reliable. Built for those wanting a full-featured binding that will take them far from the trailhead, the Raider 10 SL is a smart choice to bring along.
- Cam Release System allows for easy step-in and provides independent vertical and lateral release options between 3-10.
- Snowpack Proof Toe resists the buildup of snow under the toe wings, keeping things working smoothly.
- Elastic Response System features a spring-loaded track in the base plate that compensates for ski compression, keeping your release values consistent.
- AP brake system, while requiring more manual manipulation than the Evo system, is simple and reliable.
- Magneto heel flaps use magnets to secure the heel risers and keep them from obnoxiously flapping around.
- Lightest of the Raider models that doesn't skimp on performance.
