First, is this stuff any good/better than elbow grease and some steel/brass/nylon brushes? Second, is this product petroleum-based, or non-toxic? Third, what kind of base cleaner would you recommend for a pine-tar, skin glue mess of a somewhat neglected but beloved ski? Asking for a friend. Thomc- This is better than elbow grease but you may still need to use a little elbow grease. There is no ingredient label but its flammable so probably not non-toxic. This should take off any kind of mess you have on your bases and ready for tuning and waxing.
