Toe plates, heel plates, extension plates, and more. These are all the parts you need to make new those hand me down Radical or Vertical bindings. Please note that heel bases with integrated brakes are listed in our brakes section.

Speed Radical Heel Base - Adjustable base with tower that holds Speed Rad heel housings.

Radical ST Toe Plate - The plastic riser plate under the Radical ST 1.0 toe piece, also works to shim the Speed Radical.

Radical FT Toe Plate - Almost the same plate as above, but not quite; specifically for the Radical FT 1.0.

Radical FT Connector Plate - The stiffening connector between the toe and heel, complete with a shock absorbing lockout. V1.0 bindings.

Radical 2.0 Toe Plate - The front rotation unit under the toe of the Radical 2.0 and Beast 14 bindings.

Radical FT 2.0 Toe Plate Extension - The support platforms around FT 2.0 toes that distribute force over a wider area. Can upgrade ST 2.0 toes.

Radical FT 2.0 Heel Plate Extension - Similar to the toe extensions, these distribute force over a greater area on Radical 2.0 heels.

Speed / Blacklight Long Rail - Increase the adjustability range on the heel of your Speed or Blacklight binding to a whopping 60mm with a pair of these. Note this plate is not compatible with the Blacklight / Speed brakes!

All bases and plates are sold individually (x1) (Except the Speed / Blacklight Long Rail, which comes as a pair).

Question from Doug

Is the tlt speed radical toe plate the same as the tlt speed?
Do these come in sets of 2?

Thanks!

Answer from jbo

Hi Doug, the Speed Radical doesn't have a toe plate, but you can use the Radical ST & FT plates as shims for it (they are the same toes mechanically). The TLT Speed toe plate is for an older model of Dynafit bindings. They are priced individually in case you need just one as a replacement part.

Question from Jeff

looking at your 'speed radical heel base'. I have some speed turn (new style) heel pieces that I could potentially swap onto these baseplates. However, I assume that your radical baseplate posts have only one touring position for the heel piece / thimble to sit in (not including downhill position). Is this correct, or are there three touring positions (beveled flat spots for the thimble to sit) just like there are my speed turn heel post?

thanks

Answer from jbo

Hi Jeff, there are a total of two flat spots on the Radical base plates that the thimble can rest on, one of which is for skiing. You wouldn't have the full Speed Turn functionality on those posts.

Question from Kobe Bear

What toe spacer fits the DYNAFIT SPEED RADICAL BINDING.

Answer from jbo

Hi Kobe, the Speed Radical doesn't officially have a spacer, though you can use the Radical ST toe plate to raise it up. There are also some aftermarket shims available from B&D ski.

Prices here are superior to ordering from Salewa NA. I just ordered a replacement set of Vertical ST toe plates, and from Salewa they were 30 bucks shipped. I wish I'd stumbled across this section of Skimo sooner. I've got some new thimble bushings on the way to my spare parts bin as soon as I order something larger to share shipping.
