This jacket would work best for someone who runs warm. The breathable material on the back/arms offers little insulation, and while the weather-resistant fabric on the chest works well, I definitely notice a stiff breeze. For me, a tech-tee/sun hoody + this jacket (my preferred layering system) would only suffice down to maybe 25-30 degrees Fahrenheit - as long as I am constantly moving.
