Feeling right at home atop World Cup podiums, the Race Pro 66 from Movement is a serious ski for those with lofty aspirations. With a squared-off tip designed to keep the tip from diving underneath the snow, you can confidently navigate powdery race courses while others are relegated to submarining beneath the snow, maybe never to be seen again. Added cork in the tip dampens unwanted vibrations and, when combined with a stiff flex, results in a smooth and stable ride. Leaving no stump unturned in the quest to reduce all unnecessary weight, the Paulownia core has been selected for its airy nature, ensuring you can move quickly and efficiently. Make your competitors envious as you breeze by them on the way to the podium with the Movement Race Pro 66.

  • Highly specialized carbon wrap results in a stable yet comfortable ride, especially considering its light weight.
  • Karuba wood core has been individually selected for its weight, ensuring you don't carry extra heft up the hill.
  • Double Plate Reinforcement features two layers of fiberglass in the mounting area for binding retention.
  • Race Edge construction minimizes weight without diminishing hard snow performance.
  • P-Tex 4500 base is hard, durable, and has an impeccable finish.
  • Cork in the tip dampens chatter for a more pleasing descent.

Question from Daniel

Thanks a lot Emmet, so the Race pro 66 its not the stiffer skimo race right? This for me its not really bad, since if have enought grip in hard snow, but not to stiff to tired too much legs or be more predictible or rideable in harsh condituons than others then will be fine for me.

Also i understand of your answer that its maybe more easy to turn or drive short turns than other? If will be like that also its nor bad at all since i like enjoy some nice turns on the trainning as well as races since im not will win:))))
Thanks a lot

Correct, the Race Pro isn't too stiff. As you mentioned, they'll be a bit easier to ski with tired legs. They'll make shorter turns than the Trabs and Pierra Mentas. Feel free to email us at help@skimo.co and we can go into more detail!

Question from Daniel

Hi guys, looking for a skimo ski for Racing+ training but also for many long days on the mountains, looks like the race pro have good edge hold for some hard resort- mountain snow or technical terrain, but will help the special sidecut 96-66-80 to be at least "enjoyable race ski" in fresh snow ( compared with skitrabs, new atomics etc) since the extra milimitres...

Because of his 650gr is too nervious or unastable on the downhills compared with other top skimo race skis?

Finally probably is a stiff ski but on variable snows or bumps its too harsh or Vs trabs, pierra mentas..
Thanks a lot!!!

Answer from Emmett I

Hi Daniel, these would be a good option! They're a bit more forgiving than the stiff Trabs and Pierra Mentas, and a bit more turny. If you want something less turny but still fairly forgiving, the Atomic Backland UL 65 would be worth a look.
