This is one of the least impressive skis in the Freebird lineup. It skis like a dead plank and lacks the liviness of other skis with similar shapes and camber. My MTN Explore 95s, and Waybacks were way more fun than this ski.
The Navis is my winter daily and has a ton more life, and is a much better ski. I think the Camox Freebird suffered when they pulled the weight out of it.
The appeal of the Freebird line up comes from their downhill capability and fun, and this one doesn't have "it". I rarely ski s...

For what it's worth,
Hoji does say that "the TLT 5 and 6 were the examples for the last on the ridge" and that "the last volumes are based on the TLT series"

I concur with Hayden.
When doing a shell fit, I find that the gap behind my heel more closely corresponds with BSL and not mondo. Thus, in the case of these two boots, the BSL is a better indicator of internal length than Mondo.
