The 1st Gen Furtis alloy is the strongest pole I've used (for actual ski mountaineering) hands down. They are slightly heavier, but are trustworthy.

I've never had a problem using skins (by coltex, black diamond, Pomona) directly over blue kick wax...but I wouldn't trust them over anything softer/warmer. Just my two cents, this is also common practice in the Nordic countries.

Hi, do you expect to receive any extra sole-plate hardware for the Cramp-In system in the near future?

Do these have accommodations for 2/no buckle boots (alien 1s)? Stirrups, etc? Trying to find a pant to use without a gaiter with my aliens... Thanks!
