Really enjoying these liners as a replacement in my old Alien RS. The fit and warmth is great, no issues molding and the velcro closure is a really nice feature for keeping the tongue positioned all day. I have no complaints! Thanks for the suggestion Skimo Co!
Great adjustment plate. The ramp angle takes a little bit to get used to, but I have used this on a pair of old pdg’s and have t had any issues. The only annoying thing is that its a different hole pattern than the adjustment plate that is brake compatible. Or at least I believe this is true?
Great binding for what it is. Definitely not light but very confident inspiring especially if you like to skin with your toes unlocked. I broke the brakes and a toe on a pair of Zed and so replaced with an Ion using the same holes, and couldnt be happier.
This has happened to me 3 times on multiple pairs of zed mounted on different skis. The pin that fits between the intact hole shown and the broken piece either walks forward releasing the pin and the tension on the brakes or splits that housing that is broken in this image. I've tried loctite to hold the pin in place but to no avail. Fortunately I can just remove the brakes and go back to leashes while G3 has warrantied them but at this point I'm at a loss and not sure what to do.
Awesome sunglasses. Originally purchased for running and have been using them a great deal touring. Lenses work great for the early hours and for shorter days but I carry a darker pair of lenses for spring and longer tours otherwise my eyes get pretty zapped. I have a pretty regular sized face/head and these fit great and have plenty of coverage for downhill so long as there isn't much precip or wind. I still am a big fan of carrying a few options for eye coverage.
