SCARPA F1 RS Boot - Women
The SCARPA F1 was the world's middleweight champion for 10 consecutive years, an unwavering figure in the ski mountaineering community. However, even the greats must retire at some point, and we gather here today to pay tribute to the SCARPA F1's storied career and bring in a new generation. The F1 RS pays tribute to its predecessor in name only. Its flashy new White and Rainbow Green color scheme is complemented by rose gold buckles and a massive BOA dial affixed to the cuff. The alpine boot style two-way BOA H+1 clamps an overlapping shell construction around the foot, while the traditional buckle and power strap reduce volume in the cuff, giving you a ton of control on the descent without sacrificing much weight. And the BOA fearmongers have nothing to kvetch about with the Remote Dial placed on the cuff far outside of harm's way. No carbon reinforcing in the plastic Grilamid cuff and Pbax Renew shell gives the boot plenty of power while maintaining a progressive flex. We have to wait to see if the F1 RS can have a similarly storied career, but we are excited to see how far this iteration can go!
- The ergonomic BOA H+1 system features a two-way dial with a higher gauge cable for more closing power and durability.
- The tongue of old is replaced with an overlapping shell to reduce friction on the up and maintain stiffness on the down.
- Increased stiffness from the Grilamid Fiber Glass LFT lower shell, with a "progressive" flex pattern from Pebax cuff.
- 15-degree forward lean with +2-degree secondary setting.
- An actual Booster-branded strap and cuff buckle improve downhill support.
