Meh. This pack has some nice things about it, and some things that need improvement.

- Lightweight and minimal
- Mailbox compartment works well

- Buckles are too small for gloves! I find myself fumbling around just to buckle the waist or chest straps.
- The waist buckle is very hard to use because it wraps all the way around to the hip rather than somewhat in front. Sounds like a minor issue, but when you have gloves and gear on, it's a total pain.
- The pockets on the inside are a bit TOO minimal. Would be nice to have a pocket or two inside for a phone and other small items.
- Chest pouches are awkward, and are too small for most flasks

Really dissapointed with this pack. I bought one from a local shop and had the fabric the ski carrying mechanism is thread through rip on the 3rd use. Chalked up to user error, or perhaps a bad bag. Brought it into the shop for an exchange, and double checked online to make sure I was using it correctly. Had the same thing happen during a race on about the second or thrid use on the second bag. Thankfully caught my skis before they went flying down the hill at the other skiers, and had to hold the strap with my teeth while I finished the bootpack. Seems like the 22/23 bags are not as well built as the other dynafit gear I have owned....

Question from Kurt P
hi Guys - any intel on sizing?
Answer from Calum J
Hey Kurt. We couldn't find a sizing chart from dynafit, but we did measure the back panels of each pack. The S/M back panel measured 17" long and the M/L measured 18.5". Hope this helps!

Question from Charlie
What is the largest ski-tail that can fit in the ski-carry loop? (I'd love to ask this about all of your similar packs)
Answer from Cole P
Hey Charlie, I was able to fit a Movement Alp Tracks 106 tail at 126mm through the ski-carry loop. That may impractical for a speedy transition, a ski that is 110mm in the tail was still a bit challenging to put through the ski-carry loop while it was on my back, but doable. Narrower skis will be quicker to transition.

Sweet race pack. I've used the Camp Rapid Race Pack as well, and this is similar, but with a slicker ski carry, easier to use pockets and a secure fit. No issues with durability. This is perfect for racing or fast and light racing in the mountains. Plenty of space for avalanche gear, crampons, spare layers, food and water. The left breast pocket is large enough for a 500mL soft flask, which is a great feature borrowed from the style of running vests.
