Dynafit DNA Pole
Like a wizard’s wand or a samurai’s sword, the right ski poles ought to speak to one’s style and personal philosophy. If you’re drawn towards undertaking a hero’s journey to the high peaks (or at least an FKT to the top of your local test piece), the Dynafit DNA Pole is a worthy companion. Hewn from 100% carbon fiber and imprinted with racing stripes, these poles are a handy visual aid signaling pure speed to the competition. Carbide tips offer pinpoint planting precision, while the innovative two-piece Butterfly 2.0 baskets adapt to different snow types and snow angles. Oh, they won't collect snow either, and their asymmetric design helps them lever out of snow nicely too. Up top, a nordic grip cups your hands “just-so” to achieve perfect climbing power. Cultivate your mythological archetype with the streamlined fixed-length Dynafit DNA pole.
- Minimalist 100% carbon construction reduces arm fatigue in situations where every gram counts.
- Foam nordic grip with slight forward angle creates an ergonomic, satisfying feel.
- XC carbide tip won’t slip on icy skin tracks.
- Butterfly basket 2.0 can adapt its surface area for different snow types.
- Fixed lengths available between 115-145cm.

Questions & Reviews
I'm not sure if there are larger baskets beyond what you get with the Butterfly attachment piece in terms of a trailing basket. If you are trying to remove the basket and ferrule you can try to steam them off (place the tip of the pole over a pot of boiling water covered with a towel). I'm not sure what type of glue is used to hold them on, if it is epoxy this will not work - do not try to twist the tip off as you could spiral fracture the carbon!
