I ordered this pack for a friend and we just opened this morning. It has all kinds of pockets, straps, and cool looking features, which seems great. Except since we can't figure out how to use most of them and cannot find any instructional videos or diagrams, those features are completely useless. Even the Dynafit rep we called had no insight. I've now spent half a hard earned vacation day on this when we should be out skiing. Nauseating.
At this point there's about a 99% chance it's being returned unless somebody, anybody can help us figure anything out.

There are two types of pack-wearing individuals; those who use just one pack for all their backcountry needs and those that have a pack for every subset of touring (e.g., a race pack, mountaineering pack, freeride pack, beer pack, etc…). How does the integrated helmet carry feature work?

The helmet carry system is on the back of the pack, hidden underneath the top flap where the Dynafit logo is in our stock photo. It is essentially an elastic harness that stretches over the helmet and holds it onto the back of the pack, and stows away when you aren't using it. It uses two plastic hooks to connect to the pack with two corresponding cord eyelets near the bottom, which you can just make out if you zoom in on the photo.

This pack is fine. Build quality feel cheap for a pack at this price. But my biggest complaint is the pocket designs. There are simply too many and they are not well thought out. What ends up happening is that the pack feels very small for a 30l. The color is great though
