Fischer Travers Carbon Pro Boot
The Fischer Travers Carbon Pro is a lightweight, mission-ready boot designed for ski mountaineers and backcountry skiers who want maximum uphill efficiency with added confidence on the descent. Compared to the Travers CS, the Carbon Pro offers improved stability thanks to its Carbonfused Cuff, which provides more support when skiing technical terrain. The carbon sole adds torsional rigidity for better edge control, especially in icier conditions. The durable BOA H4 platform will deliver a snug fit for long days, while the massive range of motion allows virtually unrestricted skinning. Whether you’re linking up alpine peaks or crushing big vertical days, the Travers Carbon Pro offers a well-balanced mix of lightweight performance, comfort, and downhill capability.
- Carbonfused Cuff offers excellent downhill performance for its class.
- Carbon sole provides torsional stiffness, helping you lock the edges down on icy descents.
- BOA H4 Touring system is built to last and offers a secure and comfortable fit.
- Vibram Litebase Sole with traction lugs provides traction on ridgeline scrambles.
- Locking clasp on the ski/walk lever prevents popping into walk mode when skiing.
- Same familiar fit as the Travers CS.

Questions & Reviews
These are my observations:
Right out of the box, the Travers carbon pro FEELS a bit more snug all around than the prior generation Travers CS. This is because of the slightly thicker liner.
~40 minutes later~
The boots feel remarkably similar, fit-wise. The new Travers Carbon Pro is a touch stiffer, partly due to the new liner having a slightly stiffer tongue with Vibram grip foam keeping it in place against the shin. It is also slightly more secure around the foot by nature of the thicker liner. A very nice fit overall.
I can also confirm the "duck foot" offset in the foot of the boot against the toe welts. So yes, this carried over to the new boot. It's awesome.
