Whoops! It seems like the toe piece on your Marker binding(s) is no longer functioning as it should. Fear not o' fearless one, as we have spare toe pieces to resurrect your bindings and make them whole. All toe pieces are sold individually so you need a pair to make a frakenbinding.

Alpinist - A handsome black toe piece with the current ISI system, which facilitates easier step-in. Fully functional with locked uphill and unlocked downhill modes. Comes with the crampon receptor and mounting screws.

Update 2022/23: The Alpinist toe was updated with a rubber bumper and wider platform so less force is required to step in. This added 25 grams.

Question from Caleb

Hi, I recently broke the toepiece (touring retention lever area of the base) on my Kingpin m-werks. Is the Alpinist toepiece identical? Thanks!

Answer from Jeff

Caleb, Yes, the Alpinist is what is used on the M Werks model.

Question from Eli

Hi, I have a set of Marker Kingpin 13s, 2020 (red), and need to replace one of the toepieces. Visually, it seems the Alpinist 12 2021/2022 piece is the most similar, but I'm wondering if you know whether this is the matching toe piece.

Answer from Jeff

Eli, The Kingpin 13 then used the toe piece with 6 springs in the toe.
Since then, they have switch to the Alpinist toe piece. So you would have a miss matched binding. Or you could replace both.

Question from Rhys

Hi, what's the difference between the Alpinist 8/10/12 toe-pieces? From product pics they look basically identical hey. Maybe the rubber bumper is a different color on the 8? Is the stiffness of the springs any different? Thanks!

(I have a broken 8 toepiece, but the only replacement available to me at short notice is a 10!).

Hi Rhys, the springs do vary per model so it's best to pair the correct toe and heel so the release indicators line up properly.
