Yes! I put a contour basket and tip on a Leki PRC 700 pole. Worked perfectly. Didn't even need extra glue. Boil a pot of water. Let the pole basket sit in there for 1 minute, and pull off the old XC basket. Quickly put on the new contour tip and you'll be skiing powder on your race skis in no time!

I really like these boots. These are a great race boot if you don't want to or can't drop $2k on full carbon boots. I've really liked how effortless the range-of-motion is and the forefoot boa-like system is really good. It took me a lot of work to figure out how to keep my heel locked down (that's my only knock on them, which is more my fault than the boots), but they fit great now. For less than $1000, you can't go wrong. Definitely a race boot though. I ski my Alien RS boots when want more downhill capab...

I'm looking at these as a possible replacement for my Alien RS liners. I have very skinny calves and a size 29 boot. I like the idea of maybe getting some more downhill performance out of the boot with a beefed up liner, but am wondering if this is just too extreme of a match up with the Alien RS shell. My feet currently have lots of extra room in the forefoot and I have the cuff cranked about as tight as I can get it. Let me know what you think!
