These stainless steel inserts may actually expand your ski quiver instead of killing it. Properly installed in a ski, they allow you to mount bindings in a removable fashion. Thus, you can have a huge quiver of skis that all use the same binding. Of course, you could also use several bindings on one ski, which may help kill a ski quiver, but just creates a binding quiver. These should be called Quiver Enhancers instead.
To operate a set of QKs, you’ll need to buy one Stainless Insert for each screw hole in your binding. Then make several trips to the hardware store to find metric screws that fit your binding. Alternately, you could buy the pre-packaged fastener kits already known to work with your model (inserts not included). We currently stock kits for Dynafit Superlite, Turn, Radical, Vertical, Comfort, and Beast bindings. We also have kits for other brands include the Plum Guide, Fristchi Vipec, Marker Kingpin, and G3 ION bindings. Each kit comes with the quantity of screws needed to mount a pair of bindings (2 toes and 2 heels). We’re also happy to try and assemble a kit for your needs.
Also available is a Pro Installation Kit that consists of three items: (1) a specially machined drill bit that stops at the proper depth for an insert, (2) a tap to cut a thread into the ski that matches the outer pitch of the inserts, and (3) an installation tool that allows you to screw the inserts in and then back the tool out. You can also buy each item individually, listed as "Step Drill Bit, Bottom Tap, and Installation Tool".
Finally, you can use Vibra-Tite thread locker if you don't plan on swapping bindings often. The 5ml bottles will lock the fasteners into the inserts.

I'd like to install quiver killers for use with dynafit radical bindings. Can you please tell what you can assemble for necessary materials (inserts, screws, tap...).
Hi Albert, we have the Installation Kit available with the drill bit, tap, and insertion tool. The Inserts are sold separately, you need 16 for a Radical. The fasteners are available in kits for each binding.

Curious as to what length screw to use for quiver killing the KREUZSPITZE SCTT adjustable heel plate? I'm imagining the Speed Turn 2.0 fasteners are what I'm looking for but not positive. Thanks for the help!
I'm a bit confused by the ordering options. I have installed Binding Freedom inserts on all my other skis, and would like to on a new pair of skis with a new pair of bindings, but they're out of stock of the appropriate screw lengths (12mm lowhead). According to Chris W's review, you can use BF / QK screws and inserts interchangeably. Is that correct? Also, do the "Fritschi Vipec Fasteners - $5.95" include all 16 screws (8 ea 10mm smallhead, 8 ea 12mm lowhead)? So I'd just need to order 1 of that item plus 16 inserts?
i'm interested in the kit for the speed turn. I was wondering about longer ss screws that would allow me to use Quiver killers with b&d 6.4 mm shims. I also don't see a link to purchase the Pro Tool Kit? thanks.
Jason - Do you have fasteners for speed turn and expedition heel pieces? Do you think the spacing between mount holes on these heels is sufficient? Thanks!
Hi Eric, the Expedition heels use the same fasteners as the Speed Turn toes, so you should be set with one Speed Turn kit. The spacing is probably sufficient for skis with reasonably reinforced mounting areas.

Hi I am planning to mount a pair of Dynafit ST bindings on a pair of Dynafit Stoke skis. I am thinking about a set of quiver killers. 1. Whichquiver killer set should I order on your website? 2. One set is for 2 skis? 3. Which drill bit should I order for a mount with quiver killers?
Hi Anders, yes the fastener kits are for a pair of skis. The inserts require a special kit for installation, containing a wide drill bit, tap, and insert tool. We are out of stock of the Radical ST fasteners and installation kit, but will get more.
I equip all of my skis with inserts, so that I can share 1-2 pairs of bindings with a growing quiver of skis. Having used both Binding Freedom and Quiver Killer (they are thread-compatible both ski-side and screw-side), they're fantastic and reportedly improve pull-out strength from having a large outside diameter and high-strength epoxy installation. The penalty seems to be about 10-15g per ski if you account for the inserts and the fact that the screws tend to be a little heavier than lightweight ski wood screws (for 8 hole bindings). Small if not negligible, but well worth it, IMO.
