With its narrow width, generous rocker profile, and tight turn radius, the Pagoda Tour 90 occupied a special place in the hearts of those who wanted a playful and maneuverable ski on a narrower platform. Thankfully, with the Carbon Pagoda Tour CFL 90, DPS has kept this same playful and maneuverable DNA but has made refinements to further enhance the skiing experience. Compared to its predecessor, DPS is now using a Carbon and Flax laminate (CFL), decreasing torsional chatter while decreasing weight, leading to more fun. Please know that our unpaid intern painstakingly built a truth table that conclusively shows that last statement's logic. To help reduce the skis' carbon footprint, DPS is now using Super Sap Bio Resin and has integrated some algal material into the full-wrap polyurethane sidewall. Since narrow skis are as likely to be billy goating through a narrow choke as they are fighting off the friction coming from wet snow, World Cup bases are used to assist with durability and help with glide. If your ideal narrow ski needs to be maneuverable, damp, and playful, the Pagoda Tour CFL 90 is up for the task.

  • Phantom Glide treatment now applied to all DPS skis.
  • Carbon and Flax laminate saves weight compared to the previous generation while providing better torsional dampness.
  • Textured polyamide topsheet resists the buildup of snow and ice, keeping weight down on a big day.
  • World Cup base resists impacts while also providing excellent glide.
  • Rockwell 48 steel edges and full-wrap polyurethane sidewalls provide excellent edge hold.
  • Rockered design emphasizes maneuverability and fun for enjoyable turns.
  • Reinforced mounting plate helps keep your bindings where they belong.
  • Eco-materials help decrease the skis' carbon footprint for a better tomorrow.

Question from Daniel

Hi! I have some older Wailer 99 Alchemists in 184, like these in easy snow, but they are getting a little soft now and are just too heavy for long days at altitude.
I find my Kastle TX94 too locked into turns because of the flat tail. Freeride Ski is a Rustler 10.
Could these skis here do the trick? Looking for an everyday AT ski that will never feel wildly out of place. 6'2 185 looking at the 179 legth.
I like the Wailers at +1, how about the mount point on these? Thanks!!

Answer from Jeff

Hey Daniel,

I can relate to the concerns about the flat tail; it's the reason I ski a lot of DPS and Voile skis. These will release much more easily, especially in variable snow. They are about 120 grams lighter per, so better on the up, but won't dampen quite like the TX94. The mount point on the 179cm is -12, but between the amount of rocker and the shorter turn radius, it can still turn very quickly. We generally use the factory-recommended line on these DPS skis, and it seems to suit most folks.

Question from BrianE

Is the binding mounting zone robust enough for Telemark bindings?

Answer from Emmett I

Hi Brian,

In our experience, DPS's construction and mounting plates are solid for tele mounts. A couple of our employees have mounted tele bindings on DPS Pagoda skis with good success!
