The PDG 3.0 is a classic example of “trickle-down randonomics,” a newly coined phrase that means the proven tech of an expensive ski can now be found in an affordable one. Using construction techniques from the DNA and Carbonio skis, Dynafit was able to make the perfect training and mission ski. Accurate proportions, an incredibly lightweight core, and a durable construction make this a new classic. The newest PDG (which we have dubbed the 3.0 in an effort to differentiate older versions) features a completely overhauled shape. The taper in both the tip and tail have been moved further away from center, which increases surface area for better flotation in soft snow and edging power in steep terrain without adding weight to the ski. An integrated alloy tip-notch and tail bumper provide solid attachment points for race skins and increase longevity by sealing the ski from the elements. The Dynafit PDG ski is built for use and abuse in a race or adventure environment.
- Full length Paulownia wood core is held together with a 3D Tech cap construction.
- Carbon-Glass fiber and Carbon Speed-Stringers are durable and incredibly lightweight.
- A generous 230mm of tip rocker provides ample flotation in tracked out courses, powder, and crud.
- Matches or clashes perfectly with the newly-imported PDG binding.
