Movement Race Pro 66 Ski - Women
Similar to the men's version, the Women's Movement Race Pro 66 ski is a high-performance competition tool that is also great for training and fitness skiing. Uniquely amongst race skis, this Women's model uses a more flexible fiberglass for a softer flex tuned specifically for lighter skiers. It is also marked with a more forward mounting position optimized for quick handling. Since weight is inversely related to uphill speed, Movement hand-selected the Paulownia core to be as light as possible, ensuring you don't carry unnecessary grams while deep in the pain cave. Keeping downhill performance on par, Movement utilizes their famed fiber weave to wrap the core, providing impressive stability and edge hold, especially considering the ski's svelte weight. The dense P-Tex 4500 base has excellent glide and durability while the race edges offer precision in icy snow. With a legendary construction optimized for smaller skiers, the Movement Race Pro 66 - Women's ski should be first on many racer's shortlist.
- Ultralight carbon wrap keeps performance high and weight low.
- Flex and mounting point are optimized for lighter-weight skiers.
- Paulownia wood core was hand-selected for its lightness.
- Double Plate Reinforcement is two fiberglass layers in the mounting area for secure binding retention.
- Race Edge ensures adequate grip while minimizing weight.
- P-Tex 4500 base material glides well and is quite durable.
Update 2023/24: Movement started using a new carbon fiber weave to make the skis lighter and "more comfortable". Similar to the new Fast series, a bit of cork was snuck into the tips to make them more damp. A fresh coat of paint graces the top of the ski.
