My Skiing

Been on skis since I was 5. Started BC skiing around 2001. I ski 'relaxed' these days I don't seek high speeds. I enjoy varied terrain and seek out untracked slopes where I can find them.

I'm experimenting with moving toe placement using shift plates a lot these days. I mount my own bindings and muddle over using CC, BP, narrow point locations as inputs into a mount location in addition to whatever the mfr says to do.

My Gear

BC Skis: all are old. BD crossbow 180, Dynafit Guide 170, Dynafit Manaslu 169, Kharu XCD Guide 195
Alpine Skis: Atomic R9 180, K2 Mod X 195, Volkl RS/SL 207 & 203
Theme: I prefer longer narrower skis than most people.
Boots: Garmont megaride, La Sportiva Spitfire, Dynafit TLT6
Bindings: Dynafit Comfort & Vertical, ATK RT10 Evo, Fritschi Diamir (old)
I use BF inserts, B&D or ATK shift plates on BC skis.

Probably not necessary for me to ask, but when you say the Low Tech Adapter is also compatible with 'Dynafit "Classic" pattern' toes you mean older 30mmx27mm toes right? I do have some Comfort toes I could press back into service.
Does this plate use the same heel piece mounting hole pattern as the RT 8/10/11 Evo (45/25 x 60)? Also when you say there's 25mm BSL adjustment, what binding are you assuming? I'm trying to get a sense of the overall length of the rails, thanks!
