Voile Hyper Drifter Ski - Women
After nearly a decade of building on the design of the original Drifter, Voile has returned to an old favorite and created a good candidate for the title 'supreme backcountry powder shredding machine'. The women's Hyper Drifter is built for deep days of human-powered powder-seeking, packing all the float you need into a ski that weighs not an ounce more than necessary. Powder skiing is essentially all about finding that magical balance between falling through the snow without sinking too far, and with a wide shovel and rockered tip and tail, the women's Hyper Drifter hits that magical spot perfectly. Speaking of magical spots, with such a lightweight construction, you'll have the energy to lap that secret stash a couple of times, making the heinously long approach oh-so worth it. Don't wallow through the snow up to your knees next powder day-- float and glide like magic on those most magical of deep days.
- Ultralight paulownia wood core from tip to tail provides a powder-perfect blend of dampening, snappiness, and float that has powder shredding written in its DNA.
- Early-rise rocker in the tip and tail keeps you floating and gliding on top of the snow all day, and the rough 150mm shovel out front provides bonkers levels of float.
- Rooted in the freeride oriented Supercharger and V8 ski, the lightweight womens Hyper Charger takes its shaping and form from its much heavier older brothers.

Questions & Reviews
Great question, if we were talking about brakes then that stretch would work but sadly with crampons it's a no go. I just tried to fit those exact crampons to that ski and they were not able to reach over the edge. I'd recommend going with the 120mm!
Thanks for reaching out!
The up: holy moly, super light. I mounted mind with a pair of Plum Oazo 8 for a setup that hovers around 3kg.
The down: nonstop giggles. Your partners will be jealous of how much more fun you are having than they are.
I look forward to putting these through the wringer next season!
Thanks!
