The Voile Manti ACE skis are built for all backcountry skiers who seek reliability, precision, and playfulness with a predictable design. Compared to its Hyper Manti sibling, the Manti ACE features a continuous TPU sidewall construction, delivering enhanced structural integrity and exceptional vibration damping for a smoother, more stable ride. The ACE construction ensures consistent flex from tip to tail, promoting predictable and balanced performance across various snow conditions and terrain. A robust maple mounting patch makes our Canadian friends proud while ensuring the Manti ACE is telemark-ready and capable of withstanding aggressive riding. Full-contact steel edges wrap the ski’s perimeter, providing confident control in slippery conditions. The Manti ACE from Voile blends precision and playfulness with a nimble, slarvy shape that shines in tight trees, steep descents, and variable snow.

  • Anti-ice topsheet reduces pesky snow and ice buildup.
  • Continuous TPU Sidewalls are strong, damp, and reliable.
  • Paulownia wood core offers a balanced approach to weight and durability.
  • Maple reinforced mounting zone is telemark ready and offers excellent binding retention.
  • Carbon and fiberglass weave offer responsive, consistent, and stable performance.
  • Full steel edges and sintered base rounds out a practical build.

Question from wyatt

How does it compare to the crux 105 / transalp 105, in terms of stiffness and floatation? From paper they weight similar. And if a light weight boot (F1 XT) capable to drive it in good condition?
11/17/2025
Answer from eric

Wyatt- All three skis are different in terms of personality. But for the attributes you asking for, the Crux is the stiffest but not the floatiest. The Transalp 105 is a touch softer but not by much, but a little better in soft snow. The Manti is the friendliest to ski and has nice floaty tip due to it being a bit softer and friendlier. The Crux and the Manti would be better paired with the F1 XT boot.

Question from Liam

Could you compare/contrast these to the hyper manti/hyper v6? Should they perform better in crappy snow conditions (breakable crust, refrozen sastrugi snow, etc)

Answer from Matt P

Hi Liam,

The ACE has a full-length TPU sidewall construction, which will give the ski more structure. With the full-length sidewall, they will definitely be more damp, stable, and confident in bad conditions!

Answer from eric

Liam- The Ace line up is designed at skiing crappier snow with a more damp, quiet feel overall. Both the Hyper Manti and Manti Ace ski will feel the same as they have the same rocker and shaping. The Hyper V6 having much more taper and a softer tail will be an easier ski to ski and the tails will be easier to slide around behind you. Question from Veraun Chipman

When will you have weights for these? Also, could you compare and contrast the Manti Ace to the new Black Diamond Helio Carbon 102?

Answer from jbo

Hi Veraun, good timing as we just received and weighed these. We found the Manti ACE to be both more damp and playful than the HC 102, which was clearly just a shrunken version of the Helio Carbon 108. The BDs are a bit more powder-focused whereas the Manti is Voile's do-it-all ski that I feel does it all better.

Question from Yang

Hi, I am 186cm tall but only 144lbs, I am thinking getting 181cm with shift binidngs and mainly use this for resort and sidecountry. Do you think this a perfect fit for me? I think light skis are suitable for me since I am not that heavy.

Answer from Jeff M

Yang, I agree, I feel weight is much more important then height of the skier.
At 150lb, I have skied the 181cm and liked it, but normally ski on skis around 177cm. So I wouldn't suggest more then the 181.

Question from Ira O'Meara-Costello

Hi. I'm 5'10 and 155 lbs. Ski a lot of trees in the east but also travel to the west . Trying to decide if I should pre-order the 181s or 176. Typically my sweet spot is right in the middle ..

Answer from Jeff M

Ira, Either way, these are fun.
I have skied both. My typical size is 177 (PS, from your order history, both skis you got here were 177cm, essentially the same as these 176) and the 181 didn't feel too long, but that is skiing wide open powder. For skiing tight eastern trees, the 176 would be better. The wide, rockered tip make these float like a wider ski.
