Since its inception in 2005, DPS has gained a loyal following for its ski shapes that can only be described as "intuitive." Building on the Pagoda Tour 100, the Carbon Pagoda Tour CFL 100, despite being quite a fingerful to type, brings some welcome improvements to an already beloved platform. Utilizing a Carbon and Flax laminate, DPS shaved a significant amount of weight relative to its predecessor, much to the delight of weary legs on a big day. For those accustomed to the Ferrari-like performance of this original Pagoda Tour 100, fear not! This same Omega 3 containing laminate that lightens the ski also preserves the ridiculously damp feel, allowing you to attack descents full of variable snow. The tighter 15-meter radius combined with a 40% rocker keeps the same, intuitive feel that folks have come to know and appreciate while the use of (more) eco-conscious materials helps lessen the ski's carbon footprint. With its versatile waist width and premium construction the Carbon Pagoda Tour CFL 100 is an excellent one-ski-quiver for those who value versatility and playfulness in an intuitive design. Phantom Glide treatment now included on all DPS skis, for more fun time.

  • Carbon-flax laminate shaves weight from its predecessor while maintaining its premium performance.
  • Super Sap Bio Resin and Checkerspot Algal walls are quite durable while lessening the ski's carbon footprint.
  • Paulownia core is tried and true and keeps unnecessary weight down.
  • World Cup race base is quite durable and has exceptional glide. It's used in the World Cup after all!
  • Binding reinforcement ensures your binding stays exactly where it should be, on your ski.
  • Rockwell 48 steel edges are robust and will provide a confident edge hold in firm conditions.

Question from Brandon H

Hey there. I'm around 182cm tall, 180ish lbs. I'm mainly looking to get this ski for volcano touring in the PNW/Do it all ski. Would you recommend the 179 or the 184 in length? I imagine that with the greater rocker, the 184 could give me a little bit more edge when carving? Though I wonder if the 179 would be more nimble with tight turns, or maybe not? Thanks!

Answer from eric

Brandon- You hit the nail on the head. The amount of rocker in this ski will lend it to shorter turns in the 179cm and longer more stable turns in the 184cm. I think either would do fine for your size skier. The bigger question might be with which boot you will use. Bigger, beefier boot go longer, lighter better uphill boot go shorter.

Question from Adam K

Are there any similar skis to the DPS Carbon Pagoda Tour CFL 100 but at a lower cost?

Answer from Jeff

Adam, good question. Whereas many skis can be said to be similar, not many compare to the DPS Pagoda 100 or 112 skis. The damp core, lightweight, 15M turn radius and high quality materials, place them a step above for Powder skis.
Within our selection, I like these for a light, quick turning and playful powder ski-
The M Tour 100 and the Hyper Manti. All are the same weight, and will be just as fun.

Question from Tyler

DPS's website says these weigh 1601g in 184 length. You're reporting 1485g. Which is right?

Hi Tyler, they must have sent us their lightest stock! We weigh the skis and report the average. Note these do have a relatively high standard deviation.
