While all good things must end, with the replacement toe pieces found below, you can squeeze in a few more precious memories with your Fritschi bindings. Please note that these toe pieces are sold individually, so you'll need two if a set of bindings needs repair.
Xenic 7 - The stock toe piece found on Xenic 7 bindings. Comes with screws and has handsome blue accents, which we find quite stylish.
Xenic 10 - The toe piece that comes on stock Xenic 10 bindings. Comes with mounting screws, but sadly, no blue accenting.
Tecton 13 - The toe piece that ships with the Tecton 13 binding. Comes with screws. Update 2024/25: Reinforced toe design
Vipec Evo 12 - As you may have surmised, this is the toe piece that comes with the Vipec Evo 12 binding. Yes, it comes with screws. Update 2024/25: Reinforced toe design
So, is Fritschi going out of business or discontinuing some models? I have a set of Tecton 12 new in box and a bit concerned regarding replacement parts if needed. Have there been failures due to design or material weaknesses I should be concerned about? I was hoping to add the toe release safety factor to my setup, but don't want any reliability issues.
Hi Herb, Fritschi discontinued the Tecton 12 in favor of the 13 which has a few durability improvements. There was no major weakness of the 12 that we could see, however.
We do not have any in stock at the moment, but we might be able to make some appear for you! Please shoot us an email at help@skimo.co if you're interested.

Question from
Donald Chase III
Looking for a toe piece to replace an orange tab Tecton 12.. Will the blue tab toe piece work?
Donald- The Tecton 13 would certainly work as a replacement. Your release value range would be different but the toe functions the same. The color piece is actually interchangable piece of bling so you could swap those colored pieces to keep the look the same.
