This is legit. To my this is a blend of the Iko and Swift headlamps. It’s crazy lightweight and sits very nicely. I run with it and the comfort is uncanny. I didn’t have to adjust it once the first time I used it. Attaches easily to a Sirocco helmet, but not my Poc helmet. Beam has a very bright center that casts a soft glow into the periphery, and I don’t have to angle the lens to what’s just in front of me. Glowing red strobe on the back is icing on the cake. Cannot wait to ski with it. I imagine it will ...
How would this compare to a DPS Pagoda Tour 106 in terms of stiffness. Is it softer? My Pagoda Tours like to lock into longer turns, will these ski release faster? How do you think the rocker profile will ski on a supportable crust or harder snow? The full sidewall is encouraging, thinking the flat camber might still work, but not deliver as much energy as something with camber. Kinda intrigued to be honest. Especially as I know how picky you are about what “fat” skis you sell.
These glasses are superb. I previously bought the julbo aerospeed that goes from clear to dark, but found the lack of lens tint made it difficult to see contrasts in all light conditions save for completely dark. These add some tint, provide better sun coverage, and are easier to clean at the bridge. Bought them this spring and look forward to seeing how they do in the dead of winter.

I was fortunate enough to demo these boots before buying. The hoji lock was what really turned me on to them, it makes transitions a snap. After a liner mould the boots still gave me trouble when locked down to ski though. I went to my local shop and they hooked me up with a custom Sidas footbed and the pain disappeared. Be careful that you don’t crank down the instep strap, if I keep it too tight it can be really painful on the uphill. Also, you can adjust the position of the liner tongue, freeing up more...
