Contour Guide Pure 2.0 Skins
The Contour Guide Pure 2.0 skins are an updated take on a proven classic, offering reliable performance with thoughtful refinements. Designed with the same trusted glue formula that’s easy to handle yet won't leave you hanging when multiple laps are in the forecast, the Guide Pure excels in a wide range of situations. The new backing material is thinner, more packable, and engineered to resist water absorption, keeping the skins light even in wet spring snow. The 100% mohair construction offers a balanced mix of durability, grip, and glide, and provides a slight glide advantage in powder snow compared to their mixed nylon-mohair counterparts. With dependable glue, smooth handling, and a plush that thrives in soft-snow conditions, the Guide Pure 2.0 from Contour is a top pick for dedicated backcountry skiers.

Questions & Reviews
The Guide 2s are new this year so we don't have a ton of durability data, noting we havent seen any failure/rips yet. Great skin with reliable glue. The Free Pros win for packability, yes the tradeoff is you shouldn't skin over rocks/stumps/etc. For what it's worth, I went with the Hybrids for my HV8s since they can be ripped off with skis on (that's a lot of surface area for traditional glues).
We weigh with the backing, so not actual weights.
