Dynafit has done it again and designed a top-end race binding from the ground up. The Dynafit DNA binding is made with super strong aluminum and is even lighter than previous Dynafit race models, which is music to our ears. The toe piece uses a new mounting pattern with wide rear holes for extra retention while squeezing the front holes together to reduce the amount of material. The heel piece is an elegant structural frame with a simple heel flap for switching modes. Weighing in at less than 100 grams, you will be sure to see this binding on podiums and FKTs around the globe. Optional adjustment plates are offered for those who like to swap their race boots for touring boots when training or chasing obscure objectives. Do you have approximate release values for these?

Steve, We don't have a lot of testing on it. But the way they release is like the LTR and rather unique. The tightness of the mounting screws affects the release. At 4 Newton/meters, the release is around 10. Same for the Vertical release. The new Mezzalama binding, has fully adjustable release and we have tested and it is very accurate.

Hi there, so I'm curious if the new DNA binding hole pattern is different than the 105?

Could I replace a 105 binding and re-use same holes, or did Dynafit manage to change them just enough (0.884774mm) to create another binding hole pattern standard? Thanks

Hi _JP, the heel has the same pattern, but yes, the toe is 3.1415926mm different. We will have them measured more precisely upon arrival.
