Kreuzspitze SCTTT Binding

Discontinued

Kreuzspitze’s bindings are known for their elegantly simple designs and immaculate machining. Sometimes it seems like it would be a shame to ski on them instead of putting them above the fireplace. The SCTTT is Kreuzspitze’s crème de la crème race binding and is based off the wildly popular SCTT, but with a titanium heel-spring to further reduce the weight. The Italian craftsmen covered the basics: lock/unlock modes, flat-on-ski option, and a simple heel-flap riser. If you find top-notch quality irresistible and you enjoy gear that’ll last longer than a pro football career, the Kreuzspitze SCTTT is a timeless binding for you.

  • Full flat-on-ski mode and quick heel-flap are the fastest way to travel.
  • Titanium U-Spring is lighter than steel and is easily replaceable.
  • “Lady” version available with lighter springs for lighter skiers.
  • Optional crampon receptor sold separately.

Update 2020/21: The SCTTT was replaced by the RS with a redesigned toe piece.

Question from EdM

I have some skis with the Kreuzspitze GT binding on them. I want to take the GTs off to be used on another ski and replace them with the SCTTT. Do you think the heel holes will line up the same?

Answer from Trace Leches

Hey EdM! Yeah, the holes should line up exactly the same. If you're curious, here's a link to our binding hole pattern article.

Do the heels rotate for flat-on-the-ski skinning?

Answer from jbo

Hi EdM, yes it has a flat mode that works really well due to the relatively large heel gap of 6mm.

Is there a difference between the all black ones and the previous year's black/silver?

Answer from Trace Leches

Hey Mark! Good eye. Yes, there is a slight difference between the SCTT that we've had around for a while and this SCTTT. The extra "T" in this title just means that there's a titanium heel spring in the binding as opposed to the steel spring in the SCTT.
