With a list of certifications almost as long as its name, the Mammut Haute Route MIPS Twiceme Helmet is your companion for all mountain sports. Building off of the original and much-loved Haute Route helmet, this iteration includes MIPS Evolve Core technology, which is designed to help reduce rotational forces if your head hits the ground at an unfortunate angle. Mammut also integrated Twiceme's "Help the Helpers" technology into this helmet, in the form of an NFC marking on the outside of the shell. This allows users to connect the Twiceme app on their phone, where they can set up a medical ID, rescue alerts, and more. Twiceme technology aims to protect users by making it easier for bystanders to help in the event of an accident and by providing systems to alert family and friends if an incident is suspected. Beyond all the tech packed into this helmet, the new Haute Route is still a light, breathable, and comfortable helmet to wear. Large front vents allow your goggles to vent easily, preventing fogging and keeping your head cool. Internal air channels circulate air around the helmet, making it especially beneficial for high-speed activities such as skiing. Finally, the helmet includes a thin beanie for added insulation on the coldest days. With the new Haute Route MIPS Twiceme helmet from Mammut, you get cutting-edge safety technology in a single helmet that can pretty much do it all.

  • Triple-certified helmet offers versatility for skiing and related adventures.
  • MIPS technology reduces force from angled impacts to give your brain maximum protection.
  • Twiceme offers multiple layers of safety integration for emergency services, bystanders, and your friends and family.
  • The practical and comfortable design makes this helmet comfortable to wear all day, every day.
  • 360° spherical wheel adjustment system provides a secure and confident fit.
  • Removable liner beanie made from bamboo is soft and takes the bite out of cold days.

Question from Brad

I wear 7 1/4 size hats which puts me right at size 58 to 59. Should I order a medium or large size? I will use a lightweight beanie underneath the helmet.

Answer from Emmett I

Hi Brad, if it's a really thin, spandex sort of beanie, I'd go with the medium. Any thicker than that and the large might work better.

Question from Jan L

Hi, does the shape of the "front vent" on the helmet serve as a headlamp hold? I don't see it mentioned anywhere in the description, so wondering if it can secure a headlamp, or better to look for different model.

Answer from Matt P

Hey Jan,

The front vent does serve as a clip for a headlamp!
