Demo Skis
From time to time we sell used demo skis, previously mounted new skis (from canceled orders, e.g.), and new sample skis that we obtained as part of our worldwide search for quality lightweight ski gear. We offer great deals, typically selling at or below our cost. We got to see them, you get to ski them. Win, win!
All demo skis come with a limited 90-day warranty covering manufacturer defects, but not rock damage or other abuse. If you find the bindings won't adjust to your boots and/or you can't work around existing drill holes, the skis can be returned unused within 10 days.
Armada Locator 104, 186cm - Previously owned skis with a fresh tune. Drilled for ATK Raider 12 with a 327mm BSL.
Aski Magma, 166cm - Longer ski with race dimensions for training or adventuring. Rockered tip and raised tail, with camber underfoot. A real rocketship on piste, can be paired with heavier-than-race boots and still responds. Brand new.
Aski Nevaio, 166cm - This ski is a couple of seasons old, but is new and undrilled. At 93mm underfoot, the Aski Nevaio is a fast-skiing big mountain bruiser.
Aski Nevaio, 175cm - Ski is mounted with an ATK Rent Me 10 binding with toe and heel adjustment and has been mounted once before. The ski was recently tuned and has been skied a few seasons and has cosmetic scratches.
Atomic Backland 100, 172cm - New, undrilled ski with a thin scratch on each topsheet.
Black Diamond Helio 88, 168cm - One ski drilled for G3 Zed/ION at almost +2cm for 327mm BSL, other ski is undrilled. Never skied.
Black Diamond Cirque 78, 177cm - A great ski for ski mountaineering and long traverses. Brand new and still in plastic.
Blizzard Zero G 85W, 171cm - New pair of Zero G women's skis with Carbon Drive 3.0. Decided not to carry them since they are no different than the men's.
Blizzard Zero G 95 W, 164cm - Never Skied. Drilled for a ATK Crest Raider 10, BSL 272mm.
Blizzard Zero G 105, 180cm - Never skied pair of Zero G 105's. Drilled for a 311mm BSL 1.5 cm forward from the factory-recommended mounting point.
DPS Pagoda Tour 94 with Skins and Bindings, 178cm - The ski has spent a few seasons in our demo fleet and has normal wear and tear. Comes with Hagan Core 12 2.0 rental bindings and DPS branded Pomoca precut skins.
DPS Pagoda Tour 100 with Skins and Bindings, 179cm - The ski has spent a few seasons in our demo fleet and has normal wear and tear. Comes with Hagan Core 12 2.0 rental bindings and DPS branded Pomoca precut skins.
DPS Pagoda Tour 106 with Skins and Bindings, 163cm - The ski has spent a few seasons in our demo fleet and has normal wear and tear. Comes with Dynafit ST Rotation rental bindings and DPS branded Pomoca precut skins.
DPS Pagoda Tour 106, 163cm - Skied only a few times, in excellent condition. Ski was mounted for a Fritcshi Tecton 297mm boot sole length. No bindings.
Dynafit Blacklight 95 + Bindings, 184cm - This ski comes with a Dynafit Radical Binding, Gold 100mm, and was mounted at factory center for a 327mm BSL. Has been toured in 3 times. No damage other than superficial scuffs and scratches to the top sheet and base. Does not come with skins.
Dynafit Blacklight 74, 158cm - Drilled for a Dynafit LTR 105 with a 281mm BSL. Never skied.
Dynafit Free 97 Women's, 170cm - Unmounted, new ski with a cosmetic scratch across the top sheets.
Dynafit Free 97, 177cm - New ski with some minor cosmetic scuffing.
Dynafit Seven Summits+ Ski Set, 182cm - Classic ~84mm underfoot touring skis, Radical ST bindings, and matching skins. Like new condition. Ask about other sizes.
Elan Ripstick Tour 94 W, 164cm - Minor black marks on the bases from the manufacturer. Will come off with the first base grind.
Fischer Hannibal 106, 185cm - New in packaging. One of the skis has minor dings toward the tail of the ski.
Hagan Pure 75, 163cm - Hagan's classic touring line. Drilled once -1cm for a Ski Trab TR-2 with a 287mm BSL. Never skied.
K2 Wayback 106, 186cm - Ski was drilled for a 323mm BSL. Never been skied

Salomon QST Echo 106, 181cm - Brand new ski drilled once for a Ski Trab Vario Titan.2 with a Scarpa F1 LT 27. Small cosmetic chip in the topsheet near the tail. Never skied.
Voile Hyper Vector, 184cm - Unskied, drilled for Salomon MTN with brakes with a 318bsl.
Volkl Blaze 94, 158cm - Brand new ski still in plastic! Odd size.
Mounted demo skis are set up with a size 27 boot (25 for women's skis) unless otherwise noted. Please inquire about fitting a particular boot, we can likely test it for you.

What is wear-and-tear on demo Ski Trab 171 cm? Any rock/sand hits? I do agree that it's hard to destroy a ski, the pair I have now just does not want to die :)

Hey Dima, both the Maestro and Magico have seen light use, with some minor superficial blemishes but nothing requiring repair. The bases are in great shape with the original grind still intact (the famous Trab herringbone grind). Trab is known for their industry-leading durability and unbreakable ski construction, so the Maestro/Magico are more or less good as new with an extra set of mounting holes :-)
As for skins, the plush has very little wear so I'd guess 10-15 days of use totalling perhaps 30hrs or less. Just enough to break them in perfectly for new user! :-)

I’m interested in the Blizzard Zero G 85 W 171 setup but I’m curious about how the bindings are drilled. I have a 301 BSL and figured with the 30 mm adjustment in the Raiders I’d be able to fit my boot, but would it be close to the recommended line?

Ben, I checked, it would be about 1cm short. Looks like a size 26 boot or smaller. They can be remounted, they have only been drilled once.

I have been trying to decide on a ski for ski mountaineering, corn and low snow conditions skiing. I'm pretty settled on a ski with an underfoot width of 95 - 105 and have been looking at the set of Blizzard 95 G's in your demo sale. I have a set of helio 10's as a binding and was curious on your thoughts for this set up.
Will the pre-drilled holes, if filled, be ok for a remount? Is it too much ski for the binding? I'm trying to play a little hurry up offense on this new set up with a looming yurt trip and corn season in Idaho.

Are the plum 150s on the Backland 95s adjustable to fit a 28.5 Atomic Backland boot? Also, how did you like that ski?

Hey Nat. The bad news is that the 150 is not adjustable at all, so it won't accommodate any boots that are a different bsl than what it was mounted for. The good news is that the hole pattern is so narrow and so short that almost any binding will overshoot the existing holes by a good margin. The ski itself is really fun! We have been very pleased with it. It's pretty stinking light and has a ton of energy. It's a solid performer that won't punish you if you want to noodle along, but will definitely reward you if you want to open up the throttle and get after it in any condition.

Hey Balu, there's nothing saying you can't, but the brakes would be a touch on the wide side and you may clip them together while skinning. You also risk catching the brakes against the snow during a turn. Also, brake arms will sometimes catch on your pant legs if you get really unlucky. So, to simplify, you can definitely mount them up, but you may run into some issues.

Hi Brian, it's only been used a few times. Unfortunately it has older colors now so has to go! Here is a photo of the Superlite Rental binding. The heel rides on an adjustment track similar to a Speed Radical.
