Known for their uber high-quality, handcrafted liners, ZipFit is venturing further into the world of backcountry skiing with their Espresso Liner. Lighter than the GFT Tour, it’s designed to enhance mobility and reduce fatigue on longer tours, making it ideal for extended days in the mountains. The asymmetrical tongue design eliminates pressure points by removing seams over the instep and offers a secure, anatomical fit that comfortably interacts with the shin. A cleverly integrated cuff pocket allows for quick spoiler installation without introducing additional friction points, maintaining a smooth boot interface. Like all ZipFit liners, the Espresso Tour can be customized using OMFit cork, allowing skiers to fine-tune the fit for optimal comfort, power transfer, and heel hold. Whether you're tackling big lines or long days, the ZipFit Espresso Tour offers the support, precision, and comfort that all backcountry skiers can appreciate.
Spoilers can be easily installed in an innovative back pocket without creating a friction point.
Moccasin toe box eliminates seams over the instep and provides a solid, comfortable interface with your shin.
Flexalon toe box allows the toes to splay naturally for comfort on big days.
Can be modified using OMFIT cork for a truly custom experience.
Hi. I have the Zero G Peak, but the stock liners are too thin for me. I put in the stock liner from a pair of Zero G Tour Pro’s and they work very well. Problem is I really struggle to get in, and especially out of the boot with this combo. Are the Espresso liners thicker than the stock Peak liners, and would the Espressos even work with the Peaks, seeing as the liner has to go on the foot first and then into the shell - the gater being so tight would make that super hard?
Nic- I think you are correct on all thoughts. The Expresso is not much, if any, thicker than the zero g Peak liner. Yes, it would be a hard boot to get into if you struggle already. My suggestion is run your Tour Pro liner and use Boot Horn to get into the boot. And try taking off the boot with the liner still on your foot.

Hi, I need a new liner for my Hawx 130 and suspect the GFT will be the better fit. That particular boot is really hard to get your feet into with certain liners. I feel like it might be really hard if not impossible to get a GFT liner into the boot as Zipfit recommends doing. Can it work ok if you have the liner already in the boot and put your foot into it then?
Hi Kevin, agreed, the Espresso is probably on the thin side for that boot. Most people have better luck with putting on the liners first, but you certainly don't need to. A boot horn can also be useful.

Whats the latest update on when these will arrive in the US? Ski season is well on its way. Come on zipfit...

I heard two rumors. That a container with the North America order fell off a boat and got lost at sea and there are quality control issues. Anyone hear anything else?
Hi guys, we just got an update today, sounds like the first week of February is the new start to ski season. I do not know if there were any quality control issues causing the container to fall, however the ultralight full-carbon submersible sent to fetch them had a minor glitch.

Hi there! I have some well loved Tecnica Peak Women’s in 24.5. Their liners are at the end of their useful life, and I’m considering these to replace them. I also have tricky feet with a wider forefoot/bunion situation. I thought these could be a good option for both comfort and performance. Do you think it would work?

Hey Anne,
I think that the Espresso liner would pair nicely with the Peak boots! We haven't received them, so it's hard to get an exact fit profile for you, but they are designed for lighter touring boots!

Hello Jeff, I have very low-volume feet and I’ve been using the Scarpa 4 Quattro XT as my daily driver for touring.
After about 50 days, the stock liner is completely packed out and my feet are swimming in the boots. I looked into getting the Intuition Tour Wrap (GFT), but pairing that with the Quattro bumps the weight up to 1970g (size 28.5), which feels heavy.
I’m told the Quattro is one of the lowest-volume boots in the 'freeride touring' category, so I’m really confused about my next move.
Should I switch to a lighter shell like the Tecnica Zero G Tour Pro (ZGTP) and pair that with the GFT?
Or should I keep the Quattro and try a lighter liner like the Espresso?
For reference, I also have a Lange XT3 140 LV (Size 28 MP). My feet fit those perfectly right now, but that liner only has about 20 days on it. Thanks!
Miro, Tough question to answer here. We don't have the Espresso liners yet, so can't say how well they will work in the Quattro. Considering it is a Crossover boot, the GFT liner would be a good match. The Zipfit, fitted in a shop, do help those with narrow heels better then anything else. We do have stock replacement liners, but sounds like you do need something a bit thicker or custom.
These have been delayed quite a bit; we are hoping to have them by the end of the month.

I use the Technica ZGTP but don’t like the stock liners for they are thin and don’t have much anatomical hold and not great on the downhill. I’m looking to replace them with the espressos assuming these will be a tad heavier/thicker, have better hold, and stiffer which will be better on the downhill… is this a correct assumption?
Bailey- The Zipfit expresso is the new liner that is designed to fit into smaller lighter shells. The direct replacement for the Zero G tour liner would be the Touring GFT Liner. I dont think in that boot the Expresso is going to up the ski performance over the stock liner.

I used to tour in Intuitions for the weight savings, but my bunions hated them even after multiple punches. One day I threw my old Zipfits into my shells, and my bunions haven’t bothered me since. The weight penalty is a bit too much. I’ve heard on several podcasts that the Espresso’s toe box construction has changed compared to the original Zipfits. Is it higher volume now? Will it cram my toes and bunions like the Intuition liners did?
Hi Paul, the foam is a bit less dense than the Intuition foam so it could be a bit more comfortable. The overall fit hasn't really changed that I'm aware of. Really sounds like an issue with your shells, but they could work.

Hi, will these work well in Fischer Transalp Pro?? And for sizing, the Transalp runs small, for a 27.5 boot is 27.5 Espresso right?
Hi Steve, the Espresso is a good bit thinner than the GFT - it'll walk better but won't offer as much downhill support. It'll also give you a lot more space in the boot so may not work if you already have a good fit in the GFT or with the stock Zero G Tour Pro liner.

Great to see you are getting these! Do you have any thickness specs. to help determine what boots these would work well with compared to the stock liner thickness?
Steve, Zipfit doesn't list any thicknesses. They vary throughout. Thin at the toe and the ankle area is customizable with the cork. As I mentioned below, Skimo got 2 early pairs to test by some of our staff. And they found they work well in the light touring boots.
