If you've ever tried to skin up a steep, blank, icy face without ski crampons, you will immediately appreciate the value of the security they provide. By plunging into hard snow ice, the crampon teeth add grip when skins don't make full contact or you're slipping downhill. Whether you are chasing someone up a greasy skin track in the winter or trying to time the corn cycle in the spring, the Dynafit Ski Crampons will have you covered. Sold in pairs.

  • Machined with grooves that provide strength but keep the weight down (weights listed below).
  • Available in 80mm, 90mm, 100mm, 110mm, 120mm, and 130mm sizes to fit the width of your ski.
  • Easily slide into crampon receptors built into most tech bindings on the market.

** Please note that ski crampons work best with low heel riser settings. Since your boot is what drives the teeth into the snow, very high riser positions will result in a shallow purchase for the teeth. This can also be remedied by adding spacers on top of the crampons, which has the obvious drawback of adding weight.

Size Weight Measured Width
80mm 89g 81mm
90mm 91g 91mm
100mm 100g 100mm
110mm 105g 111mm
120mm 110g 120mm
130mm 117g 130mm

Question from dug

My son has the Black Diamond Boundary Patrol 107 with the Helio tech binding. Will the Dynafit ski crampon fit that binding? I’m assuming he would use the 110? And do you have them in stock, in store? He wants to use them on Saturday.

Answer from Jeff

Dug, Yes, the Dynafit crampons are compatible with the Helio and other bindings. Yes, the 110mm is correct and in stock and will ship immediately.

Question from Sheel

Do these work with Plum guides? Also my skis are measured just about 90mm underfoot, how much wiggle room is there on the 90mm crampons/should I size up?
5/15/2019
Answer from Jeff

Sheel, NO they will not. Plum has their own Plum crampon . A 90mm will work up to 91 or 92, but you don't want to cut too close.

Will a 90mm ski crampon fit an 88mm ski? BD Helio 88. Thanks.

Answer from Sarah Doyle

Hi Jeff,

In theory yes, in practice I find the BDs edges are squared but I think you'll be fine with the extra mm on either side.

Answer from jbo

Hi Frank, not ideal but you shouldn't have too many issues with a slightly oversized crampon.

Just reading the above questions and I can tell you I have the Icelantic Maiden ski 101 mm width but I dont have it here to measure at the receptor. Any idea if the 100 or the 110 would be better for the crampon?

Hi Betsy, the 110 would be a better fit on that ski.

Question from Susan Torres

Have the Fischer Classic Binding and the Crampon, what's the trick to sliding the Crampon in? It wants to stop in the middle.
1/26/2019
Answer from Trace Leches

Hey Susan! I just answered your email, but for anyone else reading, I'll respond to this as well. Sometimes the tolerances on the crampon and crampon receptor are a bit tighter than they should be and they need some persuasion to get them over that little stopper bump. I've gone as far as using the palm of my hand to force the crampon past that bump a few times. Not ideal, but after 5 or 6 installations and removals in the house, they'll slide in very easily afterwards. The little bump that's stopping it in the middle just needs to be rounded off to allow the crampon to slide over it a bit easier.

Question from Chad L

I have K2 Wayback 88, 181cm length. Size 13 feet, Mondo 29.5 (for binding placement information) Will the 90 width crampons work? I measured at the crampon insertion point on my toe piece and it's still 88mm but 1mm on each side seems tight if the crampons are exactly 90 wide. I heard they run a little bigger than stated size. Or should I go with the 100 width.
1/14/2019
Answer from Nate

Hi Chad, I would go 90mm width, personally, but there's no harm in going with 100 if you'd prefer a little extra margin.

Nina 99, 168 length. speed bindings. is 100 mm Dynafit crampon going to fit? Also - what is the biggest we could go and not break something? Thank you.

Answer from jbo

Hi Bill, yes the 100mm will fit great! Hard to answer the other question, but the 110s might not be too oversized for that ski.

For Black Crows Navi’s Freebird skis (102 mm underfoot), can I get the orange crampons and bend it to fit? Or should I buy the black ones that are 110mm? Thanks!
12/13/2018
Answer from Nate

Hi JWDX, I would suggest buying the 110mm crampons as these do not have much in the way of excess clearance and cannot easily be bent.
