If you've ever tried to skin up a steep, blank, icy face without ski crampons, you will immediately appreciate the value of the security they provide. By plunging into hard snow ice, the crampon teeth add grip when skins don't make full contact or you're slipping downhill. Whether you are chasing someone up a greasy skin track in the winter or trying to time the corn cycle in the spring, the Dynafit Ski Crampons will have you covered. Sold in pairs.
"Classic" Style: Traditional, slide-in-from-the-side crampons that will work with most bindings with "Dynafit-style" receptors.
"Quick In" Style: Same compatibility as the Classic Style with the ability to drop-in vertically on certain newer* Dynafit bindings for faster and easier attachment.
Machined with grooves that provide strength but keep the weight down (weights listed below).
Available in 80mm, 90mm, 100mm, 110mm, 120mm, and 130mm sizes to fit the width of your ski.
* Drop-in attachment works on the Dynafit DNA, Mezzalama, Ridge, Seven Summits, and future Dynafit bindings.
** Please note that ski crampons work best with low-heel riser settings. Since your boot is what drives the teeth into the snow, very high riser positions will result in a shallow purchase for the teeth. This can also be remedied by adding spacers on top of the crampons, which has the obvious drawback of adding weight.
I have the Volkl BMT 122 which is a 122mm width ski. Marker only makes a 120mm wide ski crampon for the Kingpin 13. That is why I asked if these Dynafit ski crampons (130mm) fit the Kingpin 13. Especially since the Marker crampon for the Kingpin 13 looks very similar to these Dynafit crampons.
Hey Dave, you're correct that the bar system on the Kingpin 'pon is almost identical to the Dynafit bar system. However, the Marker 'pons are machined slightly differently, with a lower profile rivet head on either end of the attachment bar, allowing them to slide through the binding crampon attachment effortlessly. You might be able to buy the Dynafits and grind down the attachment bar, but no guarantees.

Thanks TSB. I have reached out to Marker for some help as well - but I may buy these Dynafits and try to mod them as you suggest.

Will these crampons work with Fristchi Freeride bindings?
My son has the Black Diamond Boundary Patrol 107 with the Helio tech binding. Will the Dynafit ski crampon fit that binding? I’m assuming he would use the 110? And do you have them in stock, in store? He wants to use them on Saturday.
Dug, Yes, the Dynafit crampons are compatible with the Helio and other bindings. Yes, the 110mm is correct and in stock and will ship immediately.

Do these work with Plum guides? Also my skis are measured just about 90mm underfoot, how much wiggle room is there on the 90mm crampons/should I size up?
Hi Khrum, yes they are sold in pairs and 110mm would be spot on.

Just reading the above questions and I can tell you I have the Icelantic Maiden ski 101 mm width but I dont have it here to measure at the receptor. Any idea if the 100 or the 110 would be better for the crampon?
Hey Susan! I just answered your email, but for anyone else reading, I'll respond to this as well. Sometimes the tolerances on the crampon and crampon receptor are a bit tighter than they should be and they need some persuasion to get them over that little stopper bump. I've gone as far as using the palm of my hand to force the crampon past that bump a few times. Not ideal, but after 5 or 6 installations and removals in the house, they'll slide in very easily afterwards. The little bump that's stopping it in the middle just needs to be rounded off to allow the crampon to slide over it a bit easier.

Which ski crampon should I purchase for my Dynafit 176cm - 84mm underfoot skis?
90/100/110?
Also, should these work with the Dynafit TLT speed radical bindings I have?
Hey Guy! I would go for the 90mm option. Yup, they are compatible!

I have K2 Wayback 88, 181cm length. Size 13 feet, Mondo 29.5 (for binding placement information) Will the 90 width crampons work? I measured at the crampon insertion point on my toe piece and it's still 88mm but 1mm on each side seems tight if the crampons are exactly 90 wide. I heard they run a little bigger than stated size. Or should I go with the 100 width.
Hi Chad, I would go 90mm width, personally, but there's no harm in going with 100 if you'd prefer a little extra margin.
