Question from Alex

Hello,

I'm looking for help. Is there any chance I can have Crampons on this bindings ? What should I buy ? I don't see a way to attach crampons to this binding.

Thank you for your help
Cheers
Alex

Answer from Will McD

Hi Alex, for that you'll want the "LTR 105/Superlite 150" receptor. To install it, you have to take the toe off of the ski to slot the receptor under the bar between the rear two holes.

Question from Francois Appere

can you confirm the LTR 105 / Superlite 150 Crampon Receptor will work to replace this piece?
Thank you!!

Answer from Niko M

Hi Francois! Based on the photo, the LTR 105 / Superlite 150 crampon receptor is the part for you! They are compatible with new LTR 105, 115 and Superlite 150 bindings so if one of those are you, you are good to go. Thanks!

Question from Greg Kempers

I got some atk ski crampons that should work with these bindings but I only have the bottom clip, no top clip to keep them in. Got an older version of the superlites.

Answer from jbo

Oops Greg, that crampon receptor is screwed into the wrong place. Unscrew, slide it under the binding, re-screw, and it will hold your crampons just fine.

Question from Dave

I want to add crampon receptors to a pair of Dynafit binding. I don't know what model. The receptors I have are ~18mm from the mounting holes to the center of the crampon mounting bar. The bindings on the ski the bar would be ~8mm back from the mounting screws. Do you have clips that short?

Answer from Cole P

Hello Dave, it looks like a Speed Turn 2.0 toe piece. You will want the Speed Turn 2.0 crampon receptor. They do not come as pairs so make sure you add two to the cart. If you need help installing them feel free to reach out to help@skimo.co.

Question from Alex

Hey there,

Got a pair of skis and trying to prepare them for the coming season. I am missing the crampon receptor on one of the bindings and I am wondering if this is the correct missing part. I attach the side that has the receptor for reference.

If this is not the correct part, would you be me able to tell me which one it is and if you have it.

Thanks!

Hey Alex, the Radical 1.0 Crampon Receptor x1 should be the one you are looking for. Thanks

Question from Liz

Hello! I have the Dynafit superlite 150 bindings. The crampon attachment piece has sheared off and I want a different crampon attachment that is bolted in (like the LTR / Superlite Crampon Clip). Is there anything else that works with Dynafit superlite 150 bindings?
12/22/2021
Answer from Ian C

Hi Liz, thank you for the question! The Plum universal crampon receptor should do the trick. They mount directly to the ski so work with any binding! They can be found on our Plum Binding Parts page.

Looks like I need to be more specific. There are three different crampon receptors here, will one of the three work on Low Tech Race 105 bindings? If so which one?

Hey Jerry!

If you send us your shipping address & a note to help@skimo.co we'll see if we can special order it for you!

Question from Ben

I recently got some bindings but I’m not sure what they are and how to use ski crampons with them. I think they are the classic tlt speed .
2/14/2020
Answer from Teddy Young

Hey Ben, thanks for reaching out! You'll need to replace the toe baseplate and it will have a crampon receptor built into the plastic, there is not a separate metal crampon receptor for this binding. Best of luck!

Question from Anthony Mitchell

Hi guys, I'm just after the crampon holder for the Dynafit Speed Turn 2.0. I'm a bit confused because I notice a post on 2/12/18 (also from an Anthony!) with a similar question, but his has a 4 bolt pattern, whereas mine has a 2 bolt pattern. If you could confirm that would be fantastic. I can send pics to confirm if necessary.
9/22/2018
Answer from Nate

Hi Anthony, I believe the prior post was referring to the number of mounting holes for the toe piece, and not the crampon receptor. The piece you are looking for is listed above as Speed Turn 2.0 Crampon Receptor.

Looking for 2 crampon clips to go with the set of Radical ST/FT toe Pieces I ordered from Skimo a week ago. Do you guys have any of these? I couldn't find them on the site...

Thanks,

Hi Sam, looks like you found them. They are listed as Radical Crampon Receptors.

Question from Adam

Will the speed turn crampon receptors work for the Superlite 2.0 crampon receptors? I need the receptor and the screws both. Thanks.
3/7/2018
Answer from Nate

Hi Adam, the Speed Turn Crampon receptors won't work with the Superlite 2.0 toes. The crampon receptor you seek for those toes is the LTR/Superlite crampon clip listed above.

Question from Anthony

I am looking for the crampon receptor for the Speed Turn 2.0 with 4 bolt pattern. The crampon receptor is different than the one for the radical series it seems. Do you sell those separately?
2/14/2018
Answer from Nate

Hi Anthony, we do! They are listed above as "Speed Turn 2.0 Crampon Receptor", sold individually.

Question from Rando Richard

Hi Jason and Crew,
Does or did Dynafit make a metal crampon attachment clip for the Speed Turn 1.0 (5-hole toes)? The plastic ones look so flimsy and I would like to replace it.
2/22/2017
Answer from jbo

Hi Richard, unfortunately not. There is only the one option.

Question from Misha

I forgot to include the crampon receptors when I mounted a pair of radical ST toes. Is there any reason I shouldnt ski these without the receptors? Thanks!
1/23/2017
Answer from Trace Leches

Hey Misha, you should be fine, I wouldn't worry. The crampon receptor only helps the rear (closest to the tail) toe piece screws sit flush with the top sheet, but if you are worried about structural integrity things are A-Ok!

Question from Thomas Gappmayer

Hi there,

Do you have the crampon receptor for Beast 16's? It's a thin piece of middle with two hooks on the end that sits outside the toe piece, and it mounts to the toe piece thru two screws. Thanks!

Thomas

Answer from jbo

Hi Thomas, unfortunately that is not available as a separate part.

Question from TZed

Any plans to offer race toe crampon receptors?
12/16/2014
Answer from jbo

Hi TZed, Dynafit doesn't offer those as a separate part, but we might be able to scrounge something up in a pinch. Note also that the Plum crampon attachments fit in the Dynafit slots reasonably well.
12/16/2014
Answer from TZed

Thanks for the info, I'm looking something more reasonably priced than the Plum versions. Unfortunate that Dynafit doesn't offer them as a separate part. If you ever came into a pair for a reasonable price I would be interested. Cheers
