With the introduction of the F1 LT, many were forced into a state of introspection as they struggled to cope with just how powerful such a light boot could be. For the upcoming season, Scarpa is equitably bringing the same kickass performance of the F1 LT and combining it with a women’s specific fit. After much market research, rumor has it they’re cleverly calling it the F1 LT W. Similar to its unisex cousin, the F1 LT W is most comfortable on demanding ski mountaineering missions, big traverse link ups, and farming 11,000 feet of lap after lap of glorious powder. Its 72° range of motion will out flex even the most experienced of yogis, while the durable Vibram outsole has even the mountain goats wondering how you have so much grip. If you’re ready to join the light is right revolution, then the F1 LT W is an admirable choice.

  • Women’s specific fit.
  • 72° of frictionless cuff rotation.
  • Carbon Grilamid LFT construction keeps the weight down and the performance high.
  • Vibram outsole provides durable traction.
  • Forward lean of 9°, 11°, or 13°.
  • 1 buckle and boa fit system helps get the fit dialed in just right.
  • Removable spoiler can change the forward lean (+/- 2°) to your preference.
  • Speed Lock LT Ski/Walk mechanism will make short work of the transitions.
  • Cross Fit Tour Liner is made by intuition and is exceptionally customizable.
  • Recco insert may help rescuers find you in extenuating circumstances.
  • Did we mention the boot has kickass performance?

Question from Sarah Thompson

I have thicker athletic calves. Do these have enough adjustment options to allow for larger calf sizes? I tried the Dynafit Hoji Pro Tour and those were too tight on my calves. Looking for a lightweight boot that accommodates my calves without feeling like they’re in vice grips

Answer from Emmett I

Sarah,

The SCARPA Gea is very accommodating at the cuff, I'd recommend having a look at them!

what is the difference from the mens to the womens?

Answer from jbo

Hi Kristine, the women's version is a little bit lower in the back of the cuff and liner to accommodate a lower calf muscle.

Question from Brian

How do these fit compared to the regular womens F1?
1/12/2022
Answer from Cole P

Hey Brian, thanks for the question. Overall the Fl LT will be a fair amount lower volume and narrower in general. The regular F1 will also have a more substantial liner. Let us know if you have any more questions or shoot us an email at help@skimo.co for some more in-depth fitting questions.

my only other boots are Lange, conventional downhill, size 24.5. These apparently are not available in half sizes. Do you recommend sizing up or down?
12/6/2021
Answer from Ian C

Hi Amy, thanks for your question! Probably the best bet is to measure your actual foot (length + width) and send the measurements to help@skimo.co. Scarpa's boots come a half size staggered from other brands so making direct comparisons is a little tricky.

Thanks for reaching out, Ben. We've added that info above. The 23.0 has a BSL of 262mm.
