Here lies a collection of various brakes made for ATK ski bindings, often available in 75mm, 86mm, 91mm, 97mm, 102mm, 108mm, and 120mm widths. These are the replacement brakes for ATK's touring line. If you want to add brakes to a race binding, check out our separate listings for ATK Race brakes or Touring Brakes. ATK has myriad models so please ask if you are unsure which one matches your binding.
AP Brakes - Replacements for bindings that use the ATK "AP" brake system, including newer Crest (2024/25+) & Raider SL bindings. This is the system that requires you to push down the brake pad before turning the heel to lock. Sold in pairs.
Evo Brakes - Replacement brakes for the ATK Raider Evo, Freeraider Evo, and RT Evo bindings. Also compatible with the Hagan Core 12 Evo and Pin Up Evo bindings, as well as the DPS H10 & F15 Evo. These only work with Evo-style heel assemblies, which let you auto-lock the brakes after turning the heel. Brake kits comes with two screws required for attachment and ship as a pair.
Front Brakes - You are unlikely to confuse the ATK Front ski brakes with other models. That’s because they ride on the toe pieces instead of the heels like other bindings. It's a neat system that causes less interference with lateral release mechanisms, making anti-friction devices obsolete. The Front brakes are lightweight like the binding but still seem to do the job. These also work with Hagan Core & Ride bindings and the older ATK Raider 2.0s. Yes, these also ship as a pair.
Hy Brakes - These are the replacement brakes for the Hy Free binding. Includes brake arms, mounts, and hardware.
Push Button Brakes - These are spare brakes for ATK bindings that utilize the push button (plunger) to actuate the brake, including the older Crest (2023/24), Raider 10 & 12, C-Raider, and Freeraider 14 & 16. The brakes will let you mount your bindings onto a new pair of skis with a differing width. These also work with Hagan Pure & Core Pro bindings, BD Helio 350s, and DPS R10 & R14 bindings. Includes two brake units, but does not include buttons, springs, or screws used to attach the brakes to the binding (see Push Button Hardware for those).
Push Button Kit - Same as the Push Button Brakes but also includes the buttons, springs, and screws for mounting to brakeless ATK bindings, including the V-Crest, Kuluar LT, and others. This is also a good way to replace any broken hardware. Sold in pairs of complete kits.
Push Button Hardware - Just the buttons, springs, and screws for mounting brakes to ATK bindings just in case any small parts are broken or lost to the powdery white abyss. No brakes included, just two full sets of hardware for a pair of bindings. Limited availability.
Hi, I have Kuluar bindings in BD Cirque 78. I need a replacement brake (or set so I have a back up. My brakes say 075. I don't see that size on the list. Not available? 86 seems too big. One of the little spring hooks will not hold the brake up anymore. THanks! They have worked great for a while now FYI. A little learning curve to remember to free them before the down hill and sometimes the mechanism freezes up a bit, but otherwise nice, simple design and nice to not need leashes.
We do carry 75mm brakes for the Kuluar, but we are out of stock at the moment. 86mm would be a little big, but would work in a pinch. If you want to sign up to be notified when they come back into stock, please shoot us an email at help@skimo.co!

Got a pair of 2023 ATK Crest 8 bindings with 102mm brakes -- NIB but purchased secondhand at a sweetheart price, so we had no choice on the brake width. We want them mounted on 88mm skis, and the shop says that 14mm is a big enough gap to cause control problems. So I believe we need to buy a replacement set of brakes, ideally the narrowest brake that's wider then the ski:
• Crest / Raider, 91mm x2
Mostly want to make sure I have the right option, and make sure the shop won't need any other parts besides (1) the original Crest 8 bindings, and (2) these replacements?
The shop (Mammoth Mountaineering) does mostly AT work, so I assume they can handle it -- but I don't want have to count on what they might not have in stock, when we arrive.
Thanks for your advice... You guys are excellent, just a killer resource!
Hi Ryan, thanks for reaching out! If you have a complete binding, there are no other parts you need to swap brakes than the pair of Push Button Brakes found here. Note the 86s should work just fine if you want to optimize further.
Hey guys, any idea if the EVO 120 brakes can be bent to fit a 133 underfoot ski? Or is that too much to ask?
Separately, do you know if the EVO 13/15 series can be run brakeless like the non-EVO ones? I know they don't make a brake seat cover yet for the EVO bindings.
Jack, Unfortunately, the 120 won't bend quite that wide and it is ill-advised to remove the brake from the evo system, I would recommend the Freeraider 14 and removing the brake.
I have the Ski Trab Maestro.2 108/78/94 [164] with ATK Kuluar LT from you guys using leases but due to the new regulations for 2024/25 want to stick some breaks. Question: will the 75mm version of the breaks work on my Maestro.2 (75vs78)? Are they easy to install by myself? (I am handy but don’t know what is under the hood!) Thanks - I want to stock them while available this year. -Javier “El Gato”
Dan, yes. The Push Button Brakes are the kind on the Candy bindings.

Hey - which brakes are the most recommended/fit the ATK 8? Ski size is 105 mm.
Thanks!

Hi Marianni, do you mean the ATK Crest 8? If so, you're looking for the "Push Button Brakes" option on this page, the 102mm will fit a 105mm ski well.

Thanks Gabriel.
Not the crest, it's for a pair of ATK RT 8 bindings.

Hi Marianni, thanks for clarifying. The ATK RT bindings use the same heel as the Crest with a slightly different toe piece, so the brake option I mentioned above will work.

Hi, I have the ATK Kuluar 12 Brake edition in 97mm width and I am thinking about buying a 102mm waisted ski to mount it on. The Kuluar is listed in the drop down menu, so is this brake compatible with the Kuluar 12 Brake version? Alternatively, should my Kuluar 12 Brake in 97mm be able to fit right on the 102 mm waisted ski with a little bending? Thanks!
The Push Buttons are the brakes for the Kuluar, but we're out of the wider sizes at the moment. With a bit of bending you should be able to get these to work. You'll need the whole Push Button Kit for the LT version, or just the brakes if you have the braked version.
Hi there, will the Crest / Raider brake work on the RT 10? I had my RT 10s mounted without brakes, but I'd like to add them; does this require removing the binding?
Either will work. I would recommend the 102mm brake. The 102mm brakes should work with a 105mm underfoot ski no problem! You may need to do a small amount of bending, but that is pretty normal.

Trying to size brakes for katana v-werks at 112
Would it be best to get 108 and bend them out a bit or got for 120 and worry about brake locking/knocking together.
Hi, I have a Hagan Core 12 Pro with no brakes and planning to mount it to Dynastar M-Tour 99. If I want to use Freeride Spacer AL09, do I need to get brakes for the bindings first? If yes, should I get a 102mm or 108mm? Thanks
Hey Marty! You might have to bend them out a bit, but yeah, you could likely get them to work. It depends a little bit on the shape of the sidewall of the ski, but really you're only looking for an extra millimeter of clearance on either side of the ski so I think it's probably fine.

Hi Trace, thanks for the reply. Are these sold as a pair or do I have to order quantity (2) in the cart to get a pair? Thanks.
