Closed-cell EVA foam is known for its ability to hold a mold. That means after having your liners heat molded, they won’t start to return to a former shape and crowd your feet. The foam is also warmer than some other liner materials and is very dense which helps in high-performance skiing. All Intuition liners are made with specially formulated closed-cell EVA foam, which is why they are often the first choice for pro skiers. The Pro Tour is an Intuition foam liner with flex zones to improve articulation in touring boots.
Uniform cell structure traps gasses for the highest quality memory foam.
Patented foam without fillers is lighter than traditional sewn or injected liners.
Ankle flex zone increases comfort and range of motion when skiing uphill.
Integrated lacing system securely wraps your foot to help avoid blisters.
Liners can be reheated several times and will still retain their shape.
Available with three thickness ratings: low, medium, and high volume*.
* The Low Volume version is much thinner than the Medium Volume and weighs 22g less in size 26. The High Volume is much thicker than the Medium Volume liner and will take up more space making the fit tighter.
* Sizing: For whole-sized touring boots (e.g. 26.0), order the liner in the same size as your boot. For half sizes (e.g. 26.5), round down for most boot models except those using "SCARPA sizing" (where 26.5 is the same shell as 27.0). For SCARPA boots, round up. If you have questions, you can call or email us at help@skimo.co and we can help find your best liner.
Update 2023/24: The Pro Tour has been replaced by the Tour Tongue, which can be found here.
I have Scott super guide carbon boots (27.5), the stock liner turned out to just be too tight in the forefoot area even after heat molding so I have been skiing them with Palau Tour Lite Pro Evo Liners which has relieved that issue. I would like to find a liner that is a bit of a middle ground between the two because the Palau liner leaves a bit too much room and the boot feels soft and loose now. Do you think the low volume pro tour liner would potentially fit the bill for this?
Josh, Thanks for all that background. The LV liner is not often needed, but you sound like the perfect customer for it. The thinner foot area should be right. And the thick and stiff cuff will give the support and stiffness of the stock cuff.

Thank you! And just to confirm, for 27.5 Scott boots, I would want the intuition 27 LV liner?

Hi Joshua, that's correct -- a size 27 liner for a 27/27.5 boot shell.

Hi there! I have a pair of Dalbello Lupo AX 120 ski boots in a size 27.5. They're great boots, but the stock liners have completely fallen apart after ~4y of use.
Do you think the intuition pro tour liner would be a good choice? If so, which size? And which volume?
Greg, For the Lupo, this would be good replacement liner. The size 27 medium would be the right size.

Hey, I have a pair of dalbello quantum free asolo factory 130s and the liners are packed out and falling apart. The toe box is good but the ankle and calf areas take a lot of tightening to get a snug fit. Shell fit is about 1.5 fingers in the back Do you think the MV pro tours would be a good option as a replacement liner? Thanks!
Hi Lewis! The MV Pro Tours likely use too thick of foam for your boots, possibly creating fit problems down the line. Instead, I would check out the Palau Tour Lite Pro Liners. Thanks!
Hi, I have a pair of La Sportiva Sytrons size 25 that have started feeling really flexible and the stock liner is definitely packed out in areas. Would these help make them feel stiffer again? Would I want the low volume option for these boots?
Paul, The Sytrons are a Race boot with a thin race liner. The Pro Tours are quite the opposite, mostly for Beef or Freeride style boots. Not only will they make the boot way stiffer, but the cuff is unlikely to close over them. One of the Palau liners would be a better fit. Like this one Palau Lite

I have an Atomic Backland boot that has not yet been Memory Fit molded. I would like to replace my stock liner with an Intuition and heat mold both the liner and shell. Any recommendations on the process of doing this? Should Atomic’s instructions still be followed by inserting liner into shell and whole boot into oven? At what point in the process should my footbed be inserted? Thank You!

Answer from
Gabriel I
Hi Jeff, for the liner, the best bet is to follow Intuition's at-home instructions. For shell molding, we would recommend you head to shop with the right equipment, but it can be done at home with care. I'd suggest heating the liners and the shells at the same time but separately, insert your footbed into the liners, then put the liners into the shells and let everything set.

Hello!
I just got a pair of 2023 Scott Cosmos Pros in a 25/25.5 shell, which provides about 1.5 fingers of space. I’m finding the stock 25.5 liners to be too soft and I’d like the fit to be a little bit more snug around my ankle. Forefoot fit is great. Which liner would you recommend? Thanks!
would you recommend the LV or MV for a Fischer Transalp Pro? How does this liner compare to the Palau Power LT in terms of weight and ski / tour performance? thanks!
Koby, the first part of the question depends on your foot. For the TransAlp boot, this is a lot of liner and will affect the fit. They are thicker overall then the Power LT liner. And will affect the cuff rotation. You can email us with details of your fit and what you are trying to change - help@skimo.co

In my Dynafit Blacklights there isn’t quite enough padding for my heel spurs. The left boot fits great with stock liner, right heel hurts that has larger spur. Would these liners provide more padding in the heel than stock. Also would I loose the light boot feel with these liners?
Hey Max, these certainly will provide more padding than the stock liner, though you'd want to get them heat molded as they are 4mm thicker (in the LV option) than the stock liner. Compared to the stock liner, these weigh more and will have a reduced range of motion. Some folks may feel this while others may not.

I purchased these liners 2 weeks ago, to use with my Hoji Pro Tours. I have been on three shorter tours with them. I feel like they might have less range of motion than I used to with the stock liner. Is that possible, or am I misremembering? Is range/walkability something that will develop as I use the liner more?
Alex, The Stock liners and the Pro Tour are both pretty thick liners, will not have a light boot unrestricted feeling. The flex point will soften a bit in time. And you may be miss remembering some too.
I usually love intuitions (this is my 3rd pair) but their LOW-VOLUME liner has a C-shaped pad (or region with extra foam thickness) that doesn't line up with my ankle. Bad design decision on their part. Had to seriously compress the thick spots on my ankle w/ heat and quick grip clamps to get rid of my hot spots. See photo (my ankle bone is on the blue dot. The C-shaped pad is off by almost a couple inches!)

^^^ Sorry, that was kind of a re-post. But I wanted to leave a review so others know I'm bummed. Looks like Intuition has another "low volume" tour liner called the "Tour Mod", designed for skimo!! Any chance Skimoco will carry that in the future? https://intuitionliners.com/shop/tour-mod/

I have some Atomic Hawx Ultra XTD 130 boots that have way too much room around the lower leg with the stock liner, but are fine around my foot. I have a low volume foot with a high instep, and custom footbeds. Which liner would I pick to take up a lot of room around my leg without have too much bulk around my foot? Or will the liner pack down enough with heat molding?
Definitely heat mold them first! You might find that parts of the liner pack out, allowing you to buckle the boots tighter around your lower leg. The Palau Power LT liner is a good bit thinner than the stock Hawx liner I believe, but has a good amount of volume around the lower leg and cuff. A Medium Volume Intuition Pro Tour might also work, but there's still a lot of volume in the foot box.

I have tecnica zero G scout boots in size 24.5. they fit great and I am happy with them. unfortunately the stock liner has worn through in the medial ankle area of both boots and the hole is causing blisters. I want to replace the stock liners with intuition for a similar feel. What size and volume would you recommend? Thanks!
(Intuition should be paying you folks with how helpful you are in selecting their liners!)
I have some dynafit tlt 8 I just got from you in size 28.5. Out of the box fit is excellent without heat molding. Could possibly be a little more snug. I have wide foot and high arch. Stock liners are lacking around the cuff and tongue. Would pro tours be best option to increase padding around the cuff and tongue of the boot? I have room for a little thicker liner in the shell. Should I get the size 28 liner?
Hi Kyle, thanks for the support! Great to hear about the fit. You could put in an intuition and it would definitely take up more space in the cuff and on top of the foot. Generally, you want to mold these liners. The 28 would be correct. You could also look at the Palau Power LT for a bit more beef and not quite as thick in the cuff. You may want to just see how the stock liner skis for you first.

Have a pair of 2010 Lange Super Blaster (27.5) and liners a packed out. Tried a number of new boots and none have made me happy, so wondering about replacing liners. Intuition Pro Tour Liners MV or HV 27 work?
I purchased the low volume liners, and noticed that they have some thicker material in a C shape around what’s supposed to be the ankle (red line to emphasize the shadow). Unfortunately, the middle of the C does not coincide with the position of my ankle bone (piece of blue tape). As a result, I have a hot spot right on my ankle bone.
Can I do surgery on the liner and (re)move the C shaped piece of material? Or is it built-in? What else could I do?
We haven't heard of anyone doing that so I'm not exactly sure what would be involved in moving or removing it. You'd void the warranty of course. You could also heat mold them with a ton of padding on your ankle bone, or heat that spot and pack it out with your hands.

I got some quick grip clamps to smash the thick spot under my ankle down. That helped a lot (more than heat molding w/ thick ankle pads -- though I might try that again). Seems like an issue to take up w/ Intuition
Mark, Glad to hear you’re making progress on the issue at least… Intuition certainly might have more info on the construction of the liner.

Looking for a replacement liners for my Salomon Shift 120s - 27.5. Original liner never offered the feel or control I’d like, despite a custom foot bed and additional heal lock. Have heard the Pro Tours would be perfect for a tighter feel throughout the boot. Would you recommend the HV for an all around snugger fit?
Hi Mark, the HV would take up the most space if that's what you're after, noting there is only so much a liner can do to correct an ill-fitting boot. The Intuitions work best when heat molded.

Looking for replacement liners for my Scott Cosmos II in 26.5. I found the stock liners comfortable but never quite supportive/stiff enough. I have also had issues with rubbing in the heels and have worn through the inside heels of the stock liners (=blisters...ouch). What liners would you recommend? Thank you!
1/21/2023
Answer from
Gabriel I
Hi Scott. The Intuition Pro Tour in Medium Volume is likely close to the stock liner in that boot in terms of thickness. It'll provide good heel hold. The High Volume option will give you a little more support, and it's getting close to resort boot thickness. Getting these molded is important for a good fit!
I have a pair of Technica zero G peaks in 28.5 that I ordered a size up (2finger shell fit) to use as a high altitude/cold temps boot. With the stock liner they are already my warmest boot because of the extra space. I’ve used intuition in the past for warm liners. Would the intuition tour be the best option for making this light boot warmer and maintaining most of the walkability?
1/12/2023
Answer from
Gabriel I
Hi Mauri, the Intuition Pro Tours will be a tight squeeze into the Zero G Peaks, and you'll lose a lot of the walkability that boot has to offer. They're geared more towards beefier boots. The Palau Power LT could be an option, they'll represent a thicker than stock liner that maintains a decent amount of walkability.

I have a pair of Technica Zero G Peak Carbon boots, 27.5. Unfortunately the liner has packed out quickly. The boot length is perfect, now the liner seems to big. Could a new liner like the pro tour take care of this issue? If so, what volume do you suggest?
Thanks, Markian
1/7/2023
Answer from

Hi Markian, the Pro Tour liners are significantly higher volume than the stock liners in leaner boots like the Zero G Peak, even at the Low Volume option. The Palau Power LT is a good option to add some thickness while maintaining the Zero G's walkability.
