Hi guys, what liner would you recommend for Atomic Hawx Ultra XTD 120 (2018-2019v) size 27.5? Just looking to upgrade performance, as the stock liners are uncomfortable for super long/overnight tours and have some pressure points lately.
My toes are pretty snug up in the front of my boots as it is w/ stock liners so curious what volume you would recommend?

Intuition Pro Tour Liners
Closed-cell EVA foam is known for its ability to hold a mold. That means after having your liners heat molded, they won’t start to return to a former shape and crowd your feet. The foam is also warmer than some other liner materials and is very dense which helps in high-performance skiing. All Intuition liners are made with specially formulated closed-cell EVA foam, which is why they are often the first choice for pro skiers. The Pro Tour is an Intuition foam liner with flex zones to improve articulation in touring boots.

* The Low Volume version is much thinner than the Medium Volume and weighs 22g less in size 26. The High Volume is much thicker than the Medium Volume liner and will take up more space making the fit tighter.
* Sizing: For whole-sized touring boots (e.g. 26.0), order the liner in the same size as your boot. For half sizes (e.g. 26.5), round down for most boot models except those using "SCARPA sizing" (where 26.5 is the same shell as 27.0). For SCARPA boots, round up. Hey Scott, the low volume (LV) Intuition Pro Tour liner would be a great upgrade for that boot. They will be similar in the toe but the Intuition will be thicker around the ankle and significantly thicker and stiffer in the upper cuff. Intuition liners are not very comfortable out of the box, to get the right fit they should be properly heat molded with the intuition fit kit. Unfortunately, it looks like we are out in your size but we will be getting more in the fall. If you are interested in a liner that is comfortable out of the box the Palau Power LT liner would be a great option as well. While having a comparable thickness to the stock liner, the quality is much better and will give you a larger range of motion. here is a link to the Palau Power LT liners.

In time of COVID, I need a plug and play liner for Hoji Pro Tour 28.5. Need as much width last as stock Custom Lite liner.

Hey Scott, without heat molding the liner it will feel pretty snug. In normal times I would put you in the low volume Pro Tour and heat mold them to your foot. Since you most likely cannot properly heat mold I would suggest the Palau Power LT liner linked here, which is a softer foam and will be more comfortable out of the box while offering similar performance.

The Low Volume Intuition Pro Tour liners have worked really well as a replacement for the worn-out stock liners in my Arc'Teryx Procline Support boots. They fit pretty similarly to the stock liners after a heat mold. The ROM is not quite the same, but they ski better. I first tried the Palau Tour Lite liner, but these were too roomy for my narrower feet.

What volume should I be looking at for my Atomic Backlands? I really dislike the stock liner for it. I have the 2018/2019 version of the Backlands aka the non-BOA ones. The stock liner aka the one with the magnet has rubber on the tongue and it drives in to my shins.

Hi Fes, I would look at the Low Volume liner for sure; the Backland stock liner is considerably thinner than a Medium Volume. Another option would be the Palau Tour Lite Pro if you'd prefer a slightly thinner liner with better range of ankle motion, though still stiffer than the stock Backland liner.

I have a new pair of Hoji Pro Tour with just 2 days of touring. If the liners pack out at all they will be to loose An old pari of intuition from the original mastrale feel better. Would you suggest the pro tour liner? medium?

Hi Gary, if you're trying to take up volume in the shell, then yes, the medium Pro Tour could work...it's the thickest we carry. There is also a high volume Pro Tour you could try as a last resort.

Hi, I'm looking for a liner for LaSportiva Synchro 29.5. The stock liner does not provide much cushioning and continues to create hot spots even after a professional fitting. I have 1.5 fingers width behind the heel. Could you give me size and volume recommendation please? Thanks!

JT, you would go with a size 29 liner. Volume is trickier to say. You say you have hot spots but don't say if you have too much room or too snug in spots. If you have a narrow foot or looking to take up space, go with the MV. Need more room, LV.

Todd, The Sidi liner in the Hoji Free is a Premium liner and quite thick. We would be hard pressed to say this liner is warmer. If your feet are getting cold in that boot, boot heaters may be in your future.

Nick, definitely not the Pro Tour, I don't you you would be able to close the cuff. If you are looking for a Support liner the Power LT would be good. If you do not have a lot of room in your boot, the Tour Lite would be best.

Would this a good liner to replace the ridiculously thin stock liner in the TLT8 Carbonio? I own these boots in size 27.0 and while the shell size is perfect I wish there was a bit less volume throughout; especially in the ankle/heel area. Would you recommend the medium volume or low volume liner to replace my stock liners? Or perhaps a different liner altogether would fit better and not decrease the boot's tour-ability?

Alvaro, this liner would likely be too bulky for the Carbonio. I would suggest one of the Palau liners. The Palua Tour Lite Pro Evo seems like the best choice for what you are looking for.

Joe, they just come in whole sizes, like ski boots. The size 28 should work for you unless you have a 28.5 Scarpa boot, then try the 29.

Greg, the Pro Tour liners are pretty thick liners mostly for beefier boots. You will find that the Palau liners (they make many liners for Dynafit boots) will fit better. This one is thicker if you need to take up some slack Tour lite Pro Evo. This one is a bit thinner Tour Lite Pro.

My foot is closer to a size 26 and I've got a good 2 fingers of space in the shell. I'm hoping that a high volume liner will help address my fit issues but am trying to decide whether to go with a 26 liner that might fit my foot better or the 27 that would line up with my boot. Looking for any suggestions you've got!

Noah, You should stick to the same size liner as your shell, or the liner will slip around in the shell. You would need the Medium and we only have Low in 27 left.
