This review is for the Pomoca Adhesive Tube (replacement glue). There aren't enough words to say how awesome this glue is. So easy to apply (small foam paint roller works perfect). Glue goes on even and makes skins like new with the best glue out there. I've redone 3 different skins and all came out as expected.
Hi Jack! If you write to help@skimo.co we can set you up for notifications that will alert you once the kit is inventoried here at the shop. We're holding off on issuing an estimated stock date because of shipping delays this season.
They're not interchangeable in that the "tail clip green x 1" is just the clip while the kit comes with straps and rivets in addition to clips.
If the tail/strap of your skin is holding strong and it's just the clip that you've pulled off, then the tail clip should be fine.

Hi - Are the red tail clips the same as the green ones? And are they better than the older white clips from the Climb Pro S-Glides, of which I've broken 2 now? Thanks!
Thanks for your question, Chris. The red and green tail clips are the same, minus the color. Pomoca updated their clips for the 20/21 model year, and they should hold up better than years previous. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

I got 140mm wide Pomoca Climb 2.0 skins for Bent Chetler 100 skis (164cm long with 127.5 tip width) and now am wondering if 140mm is too wide - the tip clip looks too wide for the ski. Is 140mm wide ready2climb Pomoca Climb 2.0 skin Ok to use with Bent Chetler 100 164cm skis? I realize that 130mm skin would have been perfect, but they were not available.
Mariya, When going with a Trim to Fit skin, you always have to trim the sidecut. You cannot always get the 'ideal width' , but you always have to trim. You just end up cutting off a bit more skin. The metal bale (tip) is actually 105mm wide, so it shouldn't be a problem. With all the rocker on that ski, it shouldn't matter if it sits a bit further down the tip of the ski.

Will you be getting any more of the tip buckles in? I’m looking for 105mm. Will they fit the Black Crows version of the Pomoca skin? Thanks!
I have volkl backcountry skis with holes. Does the Pomoca z-hook system work with those? Also - since I have a cracking pomoca click-lock on one of my skins, if the z-hook system does work with Volkl holes, can I buy a pair of click locks and substitute the z-hooks instead of the bars? (If the hooks work, I won't need the bars). Thanks in advance Peter Murphy, Reno NV
Peter, The Z Hook works with the K2 and Fischer skis. Not the Volkl system. The Click locks are package and we can't change out. (currently out of stock 3/24)

Does Pomoca make any metal replace tail clips for S-Glide Pro skins? I would agree with some of comments below regarding adjusting. It’s nearly impossible in the field w/ sub freezing temperature. You do have to apply even pressure on the SIDES; not the top and bottom. Definitely play with it before trying on the ski track.
Thanks for your question, Dub! In a nutshell, Pomoca glue works very well. It is reliable in all conditions while remaining easy to rip. Plese let us know if you have any other questions.
Hey TZed, unfortunately we probably won't see any in stock for the rest of the season. If you wanted to email help@skimo.co we could get you set up with an email notification once we do get the glue in.
Does the spare part "tail clip green" fit current season S-Glide Pro skins? I want to have a spare clip, but can't tell from the pictures if it works with the current tail strap. Thanks.
Thanks for your question, Thomas. The green tail clip will work with current and past season Pomoca skins. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

The tail clip/hook adjusts easily in one direction (tightening the strap) but is nearly impossible to slide in the other direction (loosening the strap) because the clip bites into the strap grooves. I do not see any convenient way to slide the clip, except maybe with pliers, screwdriver, and three hands. What is the trick?
Hi Greg, in lieu of growing a 3rd appendage, the best method is to simply apply gradually increasing force to the clip until it slides. Just make sure to clasp both sides evenly and pull directly parallel to the strap to eliminate any chance of tearing.

I broke the plastic clip that accepts the tip clip wire part the other day. Since I have the pro s-glide from a few years ago, they are sewn on. I was thinking of cutting the skin back a few centimeters to remove the broken housing. It doesn't look like you guys sell an entirely new tip clip assembly though. Hoping I'm wrong about that? Thanks!
We have the tip labeled as "Click Lock" in both 85mm and 95mm options! Instead of cutting the skin material, you can slice the threads by running a razor between the plastic and the skin material. The new tip attaches by sandwiching the skin material between a thin metal plate and the plastic tip, then joining with a few screws.

Hello, I would like to trim and attach Chugach 181 Dynafit skins to Black Crows Navis Freebird 179. I think tail hook will work. What kind of kit would you recommend for tips to replace Dynafit rubber knob attachment? Thank you much
Vadim, If you use the fixed tail on that skin, you will need a stretch tip to put on your ski. Like the rubber top fix here Contour. To use that you would need enough skin to fold over the new tip.
