Low Tech Race x2 - Non-removable brakes for the current LTR 105 and 115 bindings. Does not work with earlier LTR / PDG bindings.
Hi there - I have the Rotation ST 10 120mm and am looking to replace the brake for 100mm ideally (I'm re-mounting on skis with a 94mm waist). Can I make it work with the Radical ST 100mm? Appreciate your help... Dynafit made their naming system super confusing! Thank you!
Tish- With a Rotation ST you need to stay with the rotation base plate/brake. The Radical ST brake is a completely different binding system. For a 94mm waisted ski, the 90mm brake would work just fine.

Thank you, Eric! Does the Rotation ST brake come in 95 or 100mm, or do they only go up in 15mm increments?
Letitia- Sorry they only come in 90mm and 105mm widths. Nothing in between.

I also have the Rotation ST 10 with 120 brakes. I’ve purchased the 105 brake assembly replacement. I can’t figure out how to remove the heel piece from the brake base plate. Can anyone assist?
Hi Shawn, the trick is to turn the pins to face exactly backwards after removing the innards. That disengages the bayonet lock and it comes right off.

This is the second rotation brake that failed on me. The springs break off at heal pad. I was able to replace this with another rotation brake the first time, but now I don't see these available. Is a radical brake compatible? What are my options?
Doug, We will have more in stock very shortly. No other model is compatible.

Sorry don't have answer, but only another question...Have this same problem with the ST Rotation 10, and have a replacement base plate, but I can't figure out how to remove the turret. Can you please provide direction on how to remove the turret? I have removed the large DIN adjustment screw and springs and small cap that abuts the pedestal, but cannot lift the turret off the pedestal. Very aggravating! This should be easy, right?
Hi Mark, the pins need to be facing rearwards (180 degrees from ski position).

Eureka -- I had rotated to every other position, but the brake mechanism was blocking 180. After forcing turret around to 180 it pulled right off and took me under 5-minutes to swap in the new base plate....much appreciated! I had about an hour into it prior, aargh.

Which replacement bindings should I order for a Youngstar ski set? Description on website where purchased says they are Rotation 7 bindings.
I have a pair of dynafit ST rotation 12s and when in tour mode the heel AFD plate doesn’t come flush with the rest of the binding (creating a small space). This just creates a lot of “jiggling “ aka noise while skinning uphill as the brakes jiggle. Is this normal for this model?
Hi Sean, This is consistent throughout the Dynafit ST rotations. The likely intention is to reduce the overall rigidity, preventing any damage associated with stiffer brake components.

Hi,
I would like to put these bindings on a 116mm underfoot ski. What brakes do I need to do that? I can't tell what kind of bindings I have.
See the picture. I'm looking for a pair of brakes for these oldish GT Vertical bindings (I've got older ones!). While I did see "Vertical" in the questions thread, I didn't see any pictures that I recognized. My skis are 112 under foot. Can you sell me something that will work with these? Thanks!
Hello Erik, NO, the Speed only work with the Speed, now Blacklight, binding. The Speed Turn is a brakeless binding. Only the Kreuzspitze brake is designed to work with those or the Speed Radical bindings.

Just bought a pair of what I believe to be Radical ST 130s (secondhand but new in box). Before they arrive I was hoping to order brakes that fit the skis I plan to mount these on (92mm). I’m not familiar with the different types of Radicals, but I was hoping you could tell me which brakes are compatible using the attached photo. Thanks!
Hi Rachel, you nailed the identification. You want the Radical ST 92mm brakes.

I over rotated the adjustment screw on a 2022 dynafit st rotation 10 binding. Can I remove the binding form the baseplate and replace it with the baseplate on your site. Yes I’m a total idiot. Point taken
Hi Steve, it happens! Best to turn that by hand close to the end. But yes, the baseplate + brake is swappable. Go ahead and order a new one and we can send you instructions on how to move the heel tower over...just add a note in your order or send an email. You will need to unmount and remount the plate, including sealing.

Hi, I have a set of Speed Radicals with leashes instead of brakes. Is there anything on the market to add brakes to them or am I stuck? Thanks!
Hey Simi, those brakes can be swapped out by taking off the heel turret and attaching it to the new baseplate which will have the brakes integrated into the design. Unfortunately, we don't have any Radical FT brakes in stock and you may have some trouble finding them as the Radical FT is a discontinued binding.

Thoughts on a Dynafit 105mm brake on a 112mm ski? Or would 120mm be a better call? Thanks
Hello Bayley, that might be stretching the brake too much, and usually can only bend out up to 5mm. If there is a 110mm brake option that would be preferred but otherwise the 120mm will be the better choice over the 105mm brake for your ski.

Hey! Can the LTR 105 brakes be added to the regular LTR 105s without redrilling?
I'm considering mounting the Dynafit Superlite 150 on the Dynafit Blacklight Pro 172cm, with listed dimensions of 116-80-100. With that 80mm ski width, I'm assuming I need the 90mm brake. Or could the 75mm be stretched to fit?
Of course I could make this easier (and save $160) by choosing the Dynafit Blacklight 74 instead...
Hello Peter. The Superlite 150 paired with the Blacklight Pro would be an incredible combo. I just fit the 75mm brake to the Pro and it seemed to open up around the ski without any manipulating. I hope that helps.

Hello- I’ve got some BD 104s With Speed10 bindings I’d like to get brakes for - just confirm the Speed 105s would be best. Thanks
Thanks for reaching out, Ben. Dynafit's naming scheme is a bit confusing, however, it appears you have their Speed Radical binding. Dynafit doesn't make brakes for this binding, however, the Kreuzspitze Heel Brake is compatible.

Hi, need a new break for mi ski. I thinks I have the demo or rental radical st and my skies are 106. Which break should I buy?
The rental version of the Radical ST should have the same hole pattern in the heel, which will free you up for a baseplate swap on the same hole pattern. For the most snug fit, the Radical ST 110mm W/ Baseplate x1 will probably work with brake stretching. Otherwise, if you would like to keep the rental theme, the Radical ST Rental 130mm x1 will also work.

One brake snapped through the baseplate of my binding today - and the other has now reactively bent over too and is cracking through the baseplate. I bought them unused but from marketplace - I believe they are Radical FT,
Would I be able to replace this single binding at home without a remount if I bought the item : “ Radical FT 110mm w/ Baseplate x1” listed above?
Hi Ben. It looks like you have a Radical St 2.0 there. You can replace the brakes here . It will be the rotation brakes and it looks like right now we only have the 90mm version but are expecting more widths soon.
