Racing and touring is hard on liners. Sweat builds up; articulation causes chafing. Replace your SCARPA boot liners with a fresh pair, listed below by model.

4-Pro Flex XT - The Intuition liner for the 4 Quattro XT and 4 Quattro XT Women's boots.

Alien - Updated Intuition liner that comes with the newer Alien boots (since 2019/20). Also known as the Cross Fit Tour Lite liner.

Alien 0.0 (original) - The original Intuition liner designed specifically for the 0.0 version. Fully heat moldable and has a tongue for easy entry. Velcro closure at the top keeps it tight.

Alien 1.0 (original) - Intuition Light liner is as snug as a sock. In fact, you have to put it on before putting on the shell. Moldable, but thin so you won’t get too much extra room.

Alien 1.1 - Intuition Crossfit BT Liner for the 2nd version of the Alien 1.0 that we all refer to as the "1.1" edition here at Skimo Co. Big tongue but nothing in the back.

Pro Flex Evo - Replacement liner for your F1 boots. Also a great liner for other boots if you want a thinner Intuition liner (as compared to the Pro Tour). Women's version also available for your F1 women's boot!

Pro Flex Performance - Wonderfully warm and massively moldable, this is the replacement liner for the Maestrale RS 2.0 and 3.0 boot, blue highlights and all. Women's version is for the Gea RS 2.0.

Tour LT - And also Tour LT Women. These are the liners found in the SCARPA F1 LT and F1 LT Women's boots. Typical Intuition foam that also works great in other boots.

I need to replace the liners in my maestrale rs at 28.5. What would you recommend?

Answer from Emmett I

Hi,

You'll want a Pro Flex Performance. That's going to be the closest to the factory liner.

I have Scarpa T2 Eco 290 and original Scarpa Intuition liner 290-10608-501/2. Now packed out. Would like as close to same. What would you recommend?
2/13/2023
Answer from Emmett I

Jim,

You'll want the Pro Flex Evo. Bear in mind that it will come out of the cuff further than the stock liners because the T2s are a shorter-cuffed tele boot.

I have the Scarpa Freedom RS boots and my feet feel fine, but my chicken leg ankles are swimming in the boots. I've got the buckles maxed out but my heels and ankles still feel loose.

What liners should I replace them with?

Answer from jbo

Hi Geoff, sadly I don't think any of these stock liners will fix that particular problem, sorry!

I have the same issue will all touring boots. I use the ezee fit booties to add volume to my ankles. They have 2mm or 3mm thick neoprene. The 3mm makes my f1lt work better in the ankle since I had lots of room. You can find them on ebay or amazon.

Question from Jason

Is the Pro Flex touring a thicker liner (more cushion) than the Pro Flex Performance?
2/10/2023
Answer from Jeff

Hi Jason, The body of the liners should be pretty much the same. Comparing pictures, the Performance (Maestrale RS) has more and stiffer bracing on the outside.

Question from Kacper R

Hi, I'm starting to look for replacement liners for my scarpa 1.1 size 27. Is there any chance you will have them in stock this year - I'm not in hurry as I will need them only for next season.
Alternatively, is there any other liner model that would fit nicely with aliens 1.1?
Thanks
1/25/2023
Answer from jbo

Hi Kacper, it's such a unique liner nothing will exactly replace it. For what it's worth, I put the Alien "0" liners in mine and like how it skis.
1/25/2023
Answer from Kacper R

Thanks for super quick reply. Yeah, I'm aware it's super unique. By '0' you refer to regular Alien?
I might give it a try, it might also solve minor issue with calf rubbing with the original liner that I currently must mitigate by using some duct tape on my legs

Answer from Kacper R

Also, do you think Palau Ultralight Race might be a potential alternative as well? I saw in the comments that these were recommended for Alien 1.0 (but I guess it was in regards to the old Alien 1.0 model)

Hi Kacper, yes on all counts.

Looking for a replacement to the liner on the 25.5 21’ model year backland carbons. Looking for something a bit thicker and more substantial then what originally came it that boot. Looking at the performance Scarpa liner but am curious what you would recommend

Answer from Niko M

Hi Brennan,

If you're looking for something thicker than the stock liner I would suggest checking out the Palau Tour Lite Pro Evo for your boot. Thanks!

Question from Aaron

I have a pair of Scarpa T3 light weight touring telemark boots.
What liner do you suggest?

Thanks,

-Aaron
12/29/2022
Answer from Jeff

Hello Aaron, These are full size ski boot liners. I have tested in a T2 boot and they stick up about 4" over the top on those, the T3 are even shorter boots.
Not a good match. If that is OK with that, the Pro Flex Evo would be the one.

My wife has scarpa tx pro ntn telemark boot 25.59 (2015-2016). She needs new liners. the original liners have a tongue NOT a wrap. Can you tell me which liner is the correct replacement? Looking for medium volume
11/18/2022
Answer from Jeff

David, We do not have that exact liner. The F1 liner, Pro Flex Evo, would probably be the best match. She has the 25.5/26 boot, so it would be the size 26 liner.

Question from Nik

I have a Maestrale 1.0 boot size 295. I was curious if the Pro Flex Performance will fit this boot? I have trouble with the original liner at the ankle and the Performance model looks to not have seams in that area.
11/12/2022
Answer from Tristan M

Hi Nik,

The Pro Flex Performance will have the closest fit to the stock liner in the Maestrale 1.0. Since the 1.0, this liner has seen some tweaks, so the fit could be better with regards to ankle trouble. If you have further liner questions, feel free to reach out to help@skimo.co!

Hi!!
I have some old school Scarpa Gea RS’ , from 2015 I think. What liner would be compatible with these? The printed sole length printed on the shell is 288 mm.
Thank you!!

Answer from Adrienne R

I believe they came with the Intuition pro flex liners :)

Answer from Tristan M

Hi Adrienne,

For your boots, the closest thing to the stock liner that we currently have in inventory is the Pro Flex Performance, 24.5 listed above.

If you would like an alternative that has a higher volume of foam, check out the Intuition Pro Tour in a MV. In this liner, I would look at the size 25.0.

If you have further questions, feel free to reach out to help@skimo.co!

Question from Claire Christensen

Hello, I have a pair of 2019 Scarpa Gea RS boots size 24 and am in need of some new liners after a couple seasons of hard touring. I have some movement in my heel which I presume is from the liners being packed out. The shell fit allows 1.5-2 fingers. I value having a well-fitting boot for the downhill and am wondering if I would be better of going with Scarpa liners or the Intuition Pro Tour liners?
11/11/2022
Answer from Tristan M

Hi Claire,

Looks like we do not currently have the Gea RS liner available in a 24.0. If you would like to get put on a notification that will alert you when we get more in stock, feel free to send an email to help@skimo.co!

However, if your original fit felt a little sloppy, and you would like to take up some volume in the shell, The Intuition Pro Tour in the MV would be a good option. For your shell, I would go with the Pro Tour in the 24.0 size.

Question from Daniel B

Hey there
I'm looking to replace my Maestrale RS liners which have packed out and torn at the cuff.

My boots are 331 BSL, 29.5/30 mondo.

I'm deciding between ordering another pair of these liners or the inuition pro tour liners. Is there one that you would recommend?

Which volume of intuition pro tour liner is the closest in size to the pro flex performance liner (LV, MV or HV)?
11/3/2022
Answer from Jeff

Daniel, If your boot fit great when new, I would go with the same here, size 30. The Pro Tour liner that is closest would be the Medium. They would not be as pre shaped as these stock liners.

Question from Dave R

Need to replace the liners for my Alien RS in a 27.0. Since you don't have the Cross Fit Tour in that size in stock, would the Tour LT (which I think you say is what's used in the F1LT) work?
10/11/2022
Answer from Jeff

Dave, The Tour LT works very well, I did it last winter in my RS boots. The liner is mostly the same. The tongue is thicker and stiffer and the stiffener around the top of the cuff is stiffer. So you will get a bit added performance. And a bit more space taken up in the cuff if you have skinny lower legs like me. Better then original for me.

Thanks Jeff! Sounds perfect for me.

Question from Brian T

I am looking to replace the liners in my scarpa alien rs size 28. Suggestions?
9/27/2022
Answer from Tristan M

Hi Brian,

The replacement liner for the Scarpa Alien RS is the Crossfit Tour in the drop down above. However, it looks like we are out of stock, and will not be getting more. The Scarpa F1 LT liner is quite similar, and would be your best replacement option. In the drop down above, you want the Scarpa Tour LT in a 28.0.

Hi, I have a pair of Scarpa Women's Freedom SL carbon core touring boots probably manufactured in 2014, that I need some new heat mouldable intuition liners for (size 25.5), as these have been a great fit. I can't see this exact same liner- what would be the closest version to replace them with? Cheers

This is the photo of my scarpa freedom sl boot and liner I just asked a question about getting a replacement liner for.. thx
9/17/2022
Answer from Brett S

Thanks for reaching out, Kate. An Intuition Pro Tour would work quite well. A 26 size would the best size to go with. For information on how to select a "MV" vs "HV," please click here.

Question from Joel

Hi, my alien 1.1 (size 30, 1,5 finger shell fit) liners are packed out and I need a replacement. I need to take up a lot of space (should have had the 29 shell..), is there any thicker alternative? Ive tried using my packed out Tecnica ZGPT liner but the padding behind the calf introduces too much forward lean, and I would like even thicker foam.
5/16/2022
Answer from Jeff

Joel, sounds like you have a very narrow, long foot. That's tough, especially for a race boot. Since the Alien 1.1 does not have a full liner, any thick liner will have a thick cuff.
The first idea is to chop the cuff off as the stock liners.
Being true to the boot, the F1 LT liner will be thicker in the foot, but not as much as your ZG liners. The cuff is still rather thick and you can cut off the stiffener from the cuff.
The 1.5 finger fit is about right, most likely your big toe would not be happy in a size 29 shell.
